Re: 2019 model - Buzzing - ABS?

Is ffs what it’s called? Have you got a 2019 PCX 125 or heard it? The only car manufacturer that would have had a check this loud would have been Ford with their model T My wife's 2010 focus has an ABS self test "clunk" on first driving off from cold. At 6mph. Exactly the same speed as th...

Re: Buzz from ABS

Mines a 2019 and it's always buzzed on pull away or when I hit a slippy surface under braking that activating the ABS. I assumed it was the ABS system working. I've never locked the wheel up so it is deffo working. It's normal AFAIK. FYI I've owned my bike from new. It was serviced 3 months ago. No ...

Re: It's Raining......

Raining in the UK this week. Still commuting to work. Wear the right gear and heated gloves and you are good.

I wear a balaclava under my helmet to seal between my neck jacket and head. Works really well.

It's saving me £40 a month in fuel. I'll use the PCX until it's snowing!

Re: New Honda pcx 125

Hi, I'm Steve from Wolverhampton uk. Recently retired I'm getting my new pcx this Friday and found this forum. I have had bikes previously including Kawasaki Vulcan and Piaggio x10i. Couldn't make up my mind between red and grey so tossed a coin and I'm getting red. Will probably be adding some bit...

2018 top box cover removal

Hi.

As title implies. Im trying to remove the top box cover. But can't seem to shift it.

I don't want to force it.

Anyone done it. There don't appear to be any screws?

Thanks

Moto VLOG - Chit chat and general impressions about the PCX

Re: Initial Review Video - UK - 2018 PCX 125

See how fast! Very nice introduction to the 2018 UK PCX 125 - Thank you. Perhaps this will be the "push" one needs to "get off the fence" (as they say) to purchase one. What a beauty yours is. No hiding it, you love your New ride. I see personalization added, a few accesso...

Re: Initial Review Video - UK - 2018 PCX 125

I thought the new UK PCX's came with keyless ignition (which I am not too keen on to be honest) but it seems UK ones do, PCX 125's in other countries and PCX150's / Forza 125's do come with keyless ignition. No keyless on UK PCX. Forza has it in UK. TBH I'd rather it not have keyless. Most modern k...

Initial Review Video - UK - 2018 PCX 125

Hi people.

I've recently made a video about the PCX 2018 version. It's difficult to find videos about the 125 from a UK Spec on YouTube

If anyone wants to check it out the link is here:
https://youtu.be/GhdAhugDZRw

Hope it's helpful to someone new looking at buying a PCX.

Re: Added a windscreen

I fitted the official Honda tall screen on my 2019 PCX.

I'm 6ft 3inches and it helps with my chest. But my head still gets hit with wind.

It's way better than the original one. IMO it should ship with the taller screen as standard.

Re: Idle Stop

Use mine all the time. The bike doesn't use a starter motor to fire up. Hence why it's near silent when it fires. If memory serves correctly. It is nice sitting in complete silence during red light waits. I've had my car for 7 years on a single battery with stop start. Obviously you need to use the ...

First 250 miles I'm hooked!

So I have a new 2019 PCX. Using it to commute to work (about 12 miles each way) mainly 30-40mph roads. In the first 250 miles I've been filtering through stationary traffic and enjoying my commute time coming down from approx 1hr 50 mins per day total to approx 1hr per day (the way home during rush ...

Re: Hello guys!

Welcome to the group. You might find the mirrors are in too close. A used eb*y set from a cb500 will cure that. For more details on this just do a search on “mirrors “. Also if you want more room to stretch out, pop off the beauty plugs so you can loosen the handlebar bolts and rotate it forward. T...

Hello guys!

Hey people. I've just agreed to take delivery of a brand new Honda PCX 125 in a gorgeous red colour.

Can't wait to get out and enjoy my commute free of a car once again.

Any tips that people would give for a first time PCX owner?

Thanks in advance.

John
