Re: Service

I'll take the liberty to hijack this thread a little if I may as 12k service include valve clearance inspection.

Does anyone with the service manual for 2018< 125 Forzas know the valve clearance values?
And if somone have the torque values for the cylinder head cover I will be all set.

Re: The oil spec conundrum

Any 10w30 motorcycle oil will be fine. Yes, I'm also convinced it won't be harmful to use motorcycle oil with the correct weight. Thanks to everyone that replied! There seems to be consensus on the matter. However I think it's strange that Honda specifies a particular oil that for some reason is no...

The oil spec conundrum

The owners manual dictates that I should use SAE 10W-30 oil in my scooter. "Fine" I thought The owners manual also states that the oil should have no low-friction additives or have "fuel-saving" properties. "Allright" I thought A vanilla SAE 10W-30 oil with no friction ...

Re: Hello from the new guy

Yes, I have the electric screen. It works very well and is completely silent (no rattles). However I feel it is just 1-2 cm too short. It might be just something to get used to, as my previous bike had an aftermarket tall screen. I love being able to adjust the height on the fly to adjust the temper...

Re: Hello from the new guy

Got my new scooter today! Took it for a spin around town and my first impression is that it's got more "go" than my previous Kymco and a very nice power delivery. I haven't tried hard cornering yet, as the tires are still slippery, but the whole package seems very promising. Acceleration i...

Re: Does the 125 Forza use shims og locknut valve adjusters?

Thank you guys for both replies. It's good to hear it's thread and locknut. I have been trying to find the manual (just the regular owners manual), but for some reason it doesn't seem to be online. Seems Honda is a bit restrictive with their online documentation, or perhaps my google-fu isn't up to ...

Does the 125 Forza use shims og locknut valve adjusters?

I know the 300 Forza use shims, but does the 125 use screw and locknut like the PCX?

Adjusting valve clearance with a spanner is not difficult at all, but I can imagine replacing shims is a pain.

Hello from the new guy

Today a considerable amount of money left my bank account and i turned into a soon-to-be Forza owner. So I thought now would be a good time to introduce myself to the forum and write a few words on my background. I have been driving scooters for many years but this is my first Honda. Last year I own...
