Re: Do you feel comfortable taking your PCX 150 on the freeway?

I prefer not to do the highway but am required to in New England to cross rivers. I've put lighter sliders in the variator and I can get to 65 fairly quick. But the bike is light and it makes me nervous in windy conditions. I did take a ride from CT to border of Maine and Canada a couple of years ag...

I'm trying to figure out how this would work without breaking the plastic along the bottom sides.

Re: Tire Pressure

Those look useful. Does anyone have any real time experience with them? I always wonder with those kind of things if they allow air to leak.

Re: Scooter Cannonball Run - Its a real thing!

I did 200 miles in a ride last week. Took a break for lunch at midpoint. Still came home with a sore butt. Not sure if it could handle 400+ miles in a day.

Re: Important Information for new riders!

I don't consider it a push left or right thing as much as a push down as I lean left or right. It's just how I visualize it. Doesn't take much to have the bike go the way you want when you're doing it.

Re: Why no mega scooter?

that Forza 750 looks and has a lot of the same features as their X-ADV. But neither is coming to USA unfortunately. I would love to have one. BTW SantinoInc, I got into the scooter game with a ruckus. It's a lot of fun and I take it in the woods which is something I would not do with my PCX. But ove...

Re: Noise with acceleration

Conelite I see from other posts of yours that you own a Ruckus too. I also have one and done some work on it. Basic stuff, lighter variator weights, polini belt, eliminated the limiter... Anyways, did you use a NCY variator on that or another kind? Make a difference? I'm only getting it to 43 on a f...

You happy with the NCY for a variator upgrade? Recommend it over a Massimo?

Noise with acceleration

I'm getting a noise which appears to come from the clutch area upon acceleration from at or near a full stop. It's not a squeal, but a vibration/groaning thing. I'm going to be changing the rollers to Dr.Pullys soon and will check the belt for wear then (bike only has 9K) but I thought I'd ask the f...

Re: New theme

I thought it was my computer messing up when I first opened this new format. I started checking my setting and seeing if my security reported a virus or something.
Thanks for all your work on this. I know how it is to rebuild something of this nature after a crash.

I'm not sure what the 2019 rack looks like but my 2016 PCX honda rack worked fine with the SH125i honda box. Look up the Honda rack for that box and see if it matches yours.

When I bought my PCX it came with this cupholder on the bars. It worked nice but I removed it. I don't plan on any drinking and driving.

Re: Anyone else drive a VW

My dad was an airline pilot and back in the 70s when I was a teen he picked up a 68 VW bug in New Jersey for $50. Used it to get home from Newark after a trip. It had no brakes except for the parking brake. This would work OK if you thought ahead and started pumping it early so you wouldn't skid. I ...

Re: Game On! Last Song Word is Yours

liked this one when rolling down the highway in the old days. I guess I still do.

Of course this one was best for backroads with the windows up and car full of smoke. They were the first rock band I saw in concert.
