Re: AzRocketPCX
The exhaust is Takegawa's "Silent Sport" minus the heatshield & lugs. It was the least expensive aftermarket. Weights the same as stock, but moves it up slightly, at more of an angle. The sweet spot in the powerband moved up slightly also (from 35-40mph to the 40-45mph area) with a mel...

Re: AzRocketPCX
65mph was GPS verified (actually 64.7) by our chase car during the trip to Sedona. It wasn't just a peak reading, but was a sustained run of about 20 miles between Phoenix & Wickenberg on Highway 60 (very slight uphill, cross wind, heavy 75mph traffic). Most of the body modifications have been t...

A couple of photos of my 2011 PCX 125. Been riding since Jan 2011, and have put 17,500 miles on it here in southern Arizona. Modifications include moving the mirrors to the bodywork, carbon fiber bits (windscreen, seat cowl, front fender & rear fender [deleted] by Magical Racing out of Japan), s...

Re: Sky Island Riders scooter club in Tucson, Arizona
A shot of the PCX while parked about midway through the 25th Fall Classic rally, held this last weekend. Its a three day rally that takes place in Tucson. On day two we ride from Tucson, thru Sonoita (where this photo was taken) to a campground about 10 miles north of Nogales & the Mexican borde...

Re: Tire choice source in the US
MotorcycleSuperstore now has both the CityGrips in stock. Had them mounted this week. Great ride. Smoother than the stock IRCs, but I'll probably pay for that with a shorter lifespan. I'll get to put them to the test with a 200 mile round-trip rally this Saturday (Tucson-Sonoita-Nogales-Tucson) with...

Re: New PCX and Brake Fluid Gone Down
Cracksta is correct: the arrows indicate the lowest level you should allow. Sorry for the mis-information. Topping off is pretty easy, just mind the drips, they'll etch paint.

Re: New PCX and Brake Fluid Gone Down
Half way down the window is where it should be. Check your manual for the full procedure, but the simple version is: with the right hand grip level (wheel turning to the left) there are two arrows on each side of the "window" that are the marks where the correct fluid level is indicated.

Re: Like these helmets?
WhiteNoise-the Blade was my second helmet, but my first AGV. My starter helmet was also a 3/4 (brand:HJC ?) but it had an internal sun visor that scratched up pretty bad after just 6 months, and refills weren't cheap. Our local Ducati dealer had AGVs in stock, and even though I was just window-shopp...

Re: Tire choice source in the US
Thanks for the welcome MaddieDog. Great job moderating! I love the site (with the exception of the two chronic threadjackers) and thought it was time I joined into our PCX community. I'm on a 2011 125 that I started riding Jan 2011. My first two wheeler. I don't really like driving now (Sometimes th...

Tire choice source in the US
I wore out the original equipment set at 9000 miles. The rear was done, the front had another 1000 left on it, but I changed both at the same time. IRC's were all I could find here in the States at the time, and the price was right ($49/$57) at Motorcycle SuperStore. I'm at 17,000 now and looking ag...

Re: Like these helmets?
I've been wearing the AGV Blade for the last year. Its my second helmet. Fits better than my first, and is lighter. I bought the accessory flip down sunshield. It attaches to the same pivot points as the clear shield and layers over it. It can be pivoted up and acts as a shade/visor. Removal is easy...
