Re: My new 2010 SH150

Based on the running so far, I'd say there is a rev limiter in the bike as I cannot get above 8,500 (I added a tach). If there is "more" power, it would be from the ever so higher CR.

Re: My new 2010 SH150

Does anyone know the max power or RPM of the bike?

The 2014 PCX with lower CR, 10.6 vs SH150 11.0) produced maximum power of 10 kW (13.6 hp) @ 8,500 rpm

My new 2010 SH150

I picked up this near new black model about a month ago with only 100 mi on it. Bought new for the wife back in 2011 it was taken out in its first outing on a parking lot. Re: Brake upgrade

I have read through this thread and have done a search and have not found a brake upgrade that uses a 4 pot fixed caliper. It looks like the 260mm disc option is offered by a number of places. They all seem to use a offset bracket to reuse the oem sliding 2 pot caliper. I have searched outside this ...

Re: Losing power at 55 down to 40. Coolant full yet overheat

If you can get this done. I would get an engine compression test done and save this data. While there, make sure the spark plug is in good order. 2nd, I would change the oil and filter. 3rd, I would change the coolant. Then, would check the condition of the belt. I would think at 6,000 miles, it wou...

Re: 2018 Honda PCX Performance

The transmission gearing has changed over time. - 2011 (125) gearing has an overall ratio of 11.27 - 2013 (150) gearing changed to a ratio of 10.55. This ratio was 6.4% taller and could better use the bump in power over the 125 engine. - 2019 (150) gearing changed to a ratio of 9.85. This ratio is a...
