Re: Pro-Kodaskin Rack

Sorry I'm still figuring out posting pics. It seemed easier before. If this doesn't work I give up.

Re: Pro-Kodaskin Rack

I got my rack early and installed it today. I like that it's a solid one piece aluminum rack. No instructions, no hardware. You use the existing fasteners from the passenger handles and the rear spaces. The front spaces won't fit in the front holes on this rack unless you bore it out to fit them. I ...

Puig Clip-On Windscreen Visor

I just installed this Puig wind deflector ($125) yesterday. It's the smallest deflector they sell, which I believe fits on the stock windscreen best due to the width figures provided for SM, M, LG. I only have one day experience commuting with it and made minimal adjustments so far. I had a tall Nat...

Pro-Kodaskin Rack

I sold my PCX but I kept the topbox and plate and bought my 2021 ADV. I hate commuting to work with my backpack, I miss my topbox. I ordered this one piece topbox rack a few days ago so I can install my 40L GIVI plate and Monokey topbox to my ADV. The problem is that it's expected to arrive 9/22/21!...

Re: Just Picked Up A 2021

Thanks for posting my pics. At 5’6” I notice the higher seat height. I can still flat foot it when I’m down farther on the seat with boots on. I’ve taken it on a couple of short dirt/rocky roads, that I probably wouldn’t have attempted on my PCX. It handled it no problem. I notice the higher ride he...

Sorry I'm having troubles uploading pics. It's getting late, so I will try for a little more. If I'm unsuccessful I'll try and post em up tomorrow or so.

Just Picked Up A 2021

I just picked up a 2021 ADV with only 34 miles! The original owner had medical issues and had to sell. I was about to make a counter offer for a 2022 ADV from my local dealer (they were asking 6K OTD) when I saw this one on CL. He added a few drop guards, larger side stand foot, and a few other thin...

Re: Klim Mojave Pants

They were a great looking and quality material pants, but I had to return them because the leg zippers didn't open up wide enough for my steel toe boots to fit through without taking them off. I'm not gonna take off and put back on my boots to remove my pants when I get to my office. I reordered the...

Klim Mojave Pants

Just got these 2016 discontinued pair of Klim Mojave “off-road” pants ($160). I was gonna upgrade my rain pants from snowboarding pants ($45) to a set of Grundens weather watch pants ($60) because of the inner liner of the boarding pants pick up the muck from my boots. I returned the grundens becaus...

Re: 50% of my riding is in the dark

I leave for work at 1500hrs and get off at 0130hrs (for a 10hr shift). For a 12hr shift it's 1730-0600hrs. So I ride in the dark a lot too. I try and get the best mods available to be seen in the dark. I got the red jacket, helmet, reflective wheel tape, and a pair of (red w/reflective gray material...

Re: Why a WHITE helmet

I currently have a Shoei (for me) and an AGV (for my daughters) helmet. I can definitely tell the difference in the quality, the Shoei being superior. I've researched Arai helmets, and they seem to be a very premium brand as well. I've found this "whitish" Arai Oriental, which looks very f...

Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110

I bought my elite 1/27/18 w/700mi and sold it 9/8/18 w/2200mi. I added a windscreen so I basically broke even with the price. I think I only topped out w/o the windscreen at 50mph and 46mph w/windscreen. I loved the scoot, I just wanted to be able to go 60-65 mph. I didn't really look for a forum fo...

Re: PCX 150 v. Elite 110

Excellent deal! I came from a Honda elite 110 sold it for $1700 n bought a 2016 pcx for $2200. I just got my PCX in July so I’m not as used to it yet. But I’ve noticed that the elite being 40lbs lighter it was much easier to manhandle the scoot vs the pcx. The underseat storage is definitely larger....

Re: Going to Have My MCG Tires Installed Tomorrow

Thanks Mel, I didn't get to read your post till after I took my scoot in. I was really careful riding to work and home in the rain. Even with the factory coating, these new MCG tires gripped better than my stock tires. I'm so glad I got these.

Going to Have My MCG Tires Installed Tomorrow

I was going to remove my wheels n bring in my MCG tires to my local shop and have them replace them to save approximately $60. I’m working too much overtime lately and was going to buy the moly paste and anti-seize for the tire replacement. I’m guessing after buying those products it would’ve only s...

Re: NC Sport Touring Windscreen

Eiron, ya she’s hot too! I don’t know how the hell I got her. Sometimes poor basterds get lucky I guess. Loveland huh? I was stationed at F. E. Warren AFB way back, I remember traveling in that city. It brings back a whole other life for me. The parts of Colorado that I saw (mostly Ft Collins and De...

Re: Should I Replace Stock Tires Early?

On those wet rides, it was a little slippery when I would turn from a stop. And one straight 6’ stretch felt like riding through a small patch of black ice. I’m sounding like a B and writing/describing the situation sounds like I’m exaggerating the conditions. All I know is that on my Honda elite (I...

Re: NC Sport Touring Windscreen

She’s the best, that was her holding up that green and multicolored blanket in the background.
I’m guessing I’m selling this windscreen a lil too high (even if it was on my scoot for only 14 days). I’ll prob drop it $10 in the next few days on my eBay link.
