Re: Forza 300 So Far

Another happy Forza owner. Really well screwed together. Great package. Still in showroom condition after 16 months although I do like to pamper it.

Re: what was your previous job?

IN the early 70's I worked in a Victorian thread mill in my home town as a semi-skilled engineer responsible for day to day maintenance of the twisting frames shown in the pic. I had around 60 of these to look after and the heat and noise were way above anything which would be tolerated these days, ...

Re: One Year Living with the Honda Forza 2018: the Bottom Li

My 2018 Forza 300 is also a year old and remains a joy to ride. It still looks like it did on Day 1, but is a bit quicker now. Really is a lovely piece of engineering.

I had a Trophy 250 a while back. Great bikes, very punchy, but I could never get the hang of the old Brit foot controls :|

Just checked mine (slightly lower mileage) and all good.

Useful heads up though.

Microfibre cloth - secure it to the bike with velcro.

They are really great straight out of the box but start to shine after the first 1000 miles. Can't fault mine.

Re: Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Twin - 2018

Kawasaki copying the Triumph marketing strategy - selling more the image than anything substantial. HD, BMW and Ducati all do it very well too. Honda, to a certain extent, have done it with the new Cub. I'm not saying that there are no decent motorcycles within that lot but water cooling suddenly ga...

Re: Old vs New Forza 300

I have a new Forza and a 29" inseam. It's a lovely scooter but anything shorter in leg length might just be a little awkward but not impossible. I never rode the older model but, with hindsight, I probably would start off down that route and only upgrade if absolutely necessary (can't think why...

Re: Is bigger always better

Bigger (300) scoots are generally better in every way but I've never been able to re-capture that crazy fun element that you get from a PCX. But, if you must do highway work then bigger is better.

Re: 2019 Honda Super Cub Review

Mmmmm, a CG125? I recently brought one back to life and there's definitely something charming about their rugged simplicity but oh dear, it's not a quick bike at all. Honda introduced the overhead valves in order to combat the problems with the older overhead cam design which required correct mainte...

Re: Six Hour Ride on a Suzuki 125

Yes, OG, we had the 200 version for a very short time before both models were discontinued due to European emissions laws. The 200, however, has been available in Japan for many years and we see some imports coming over here but the bikes have to be over 10 years old for taxation purposes. The 200 a...

Six Hour Ride on a Suzuki 125

Took this up to the Isle of Skye for my brother. Great ride up there even although the top speed is in the low sixties. Comfortable and fun bike.
