Re: Steering head stock

Put it on centrestand and lift the front wheel off the ground by jacking it underneath somewhere or getting someone to lean on rear seat. Turn the handlebars left and right. If there's any notchy feel, particularly at the straight ahead position the bearings are screwed and need replaced. Nightmare...

Re: Brake disk question

Well I'll tell you one thing... My 2017 with only 8k on the clock, I looked at the front disk and it's got bad pitting on the surface. I'll be changing both front and rear disks and pads for Malossi kit. I'm not taking any chances on my brakes. Pitting is generally corrosion not wear. Well regardle...

The ones you have are probably fine, can you post photos?
Thicker disk, made from better materials, with race pads for better stopping power.

Front can be adjusted by adding washers on top of the springs to increase preload and/or using heavier fork oil and/or varying fork oil level.

Ask that is interesting, thank you. Is this something you've done?

Re: Forza 125 reliability and cost of ownership

The Forza 125 surprisingly is a very big seller as many really like the bike, but not worth near £5000 in my books. Another post of FB shows the rear shocks being replaced - apparently they are not that great quality either for such an expensive scooter. The after-market replacements being fitted i...

Yes I have adjusted the pre load made little difference for me. I'm nearly 18st and when I sit on the bike it basically bottoms out. The roads round us are atrocious and when the bike hits the pot holes it feels like a hammer hitting an anvil. I find the suspension to be very soft.

Steering head stock

Any one had problems with loose head stock? Anyone had a go and tightening it?

I've read that it's an issue with the forza specially on the UK roads.

Re: Forza 125 replacement rear shocks

Hello :) I crashed my Forza a couple of months back and destroyed both rear shock absorbers. The Honda replacements are ludicrously expensive, so I've been attempting to find some alternatives.. however online I can only seem to find ones labelled for PCXs or SHs - are they the same part? Any help ...

So if the chassis is identical that should in theory mean that a pair of uprated rear shocks that are advertised for the 300 should fit my 125 right?

Smart key

Hi folks, so I've just purchased a 2017 forza 125 8k full service history... One quick question, how many smart keys does this bike come with from new, is it one or two? I've only got one with the bike.
