Re: Sena 10S Review(s)

I needed a pair for the fiancee and I and I found a decent deal for a pair pack. However, I bought a 20s mount and speakers for my commuting helmet so I could use the same radio on both helmets (hi-vis orange, but less comfy for long periods) and the 20s speakers are a little inferior to the 30k spe...

We jumped up to the 30k recently, good speakers and the mesh intercom is amazing.

Re: Insurance says they're going to total the scoot

How did your insurance experience work out? For us, 3 weeks later and we're still trying to get a final estimate from the dealer. Had a chat with the GM yesterday so expect some results Monday. In the meantime, I'm picking up a Reflex this week from a guy in Loveland.. hoping the lighter bike will h...

Looks pretty nice, but I don't know anything about it so here's a bump. Maybe someone else has experience with it.

Re: Uber on Scooter

I guess that isn't too surprising if I think about it, but I was thinking about the litigation happy environment here in the states. You'd probably have to bubble wrap the passenger to get insurance.

On mine, Zilch. I couldn't even tell you where the heat blows out as I've never noticed it. It's completely different from any of my other bikes or any non-scooter I've ridden.

Re: Uber on Scooter

Fun idea, but the liability aspect of it would likely make it a non starter. You'd probably have to provide protective gear in all sizes. Also, people not knowing how to be a passenger on a bike is a bit scary.

Re: Gear and Putzing Around Town

My GF went down at less than 20 a couple weeks ago and the damage to her gear was surprising (not to mention the road rash to her knee since she wasn't wearing riding pants). I'm actually upping my gear levels for the scooters.

Re: Thinking of downsizing to a PCX

I also chose the PCX for shorter and slower routes, although I have done a 100 mile ride on mine. I also have a bigger bike for the longer and faster stuff, but the PCX is a lot more fun.

Wow, that's a lot of windscreen. Great looking bike tho, congrats! I agree with Mel46, it does remind me of the Silver Wing a bit.. I was even thinking the Givi tunnel bag I have would fit perfectly.

Did the old one suffer for agility? I'd think with a 300 and highway speeds I'd want it a bit more stable

I kept getting a "PCX+" vibe off it, like it was just the new PCX with a 300 and a power screen
