Re: Immobiliser PCX125

While it is not exactly legal, most places I go (primarily the grocery store), I try and park away from any street traffic so lifting it up and putting it in a van would be difficult. Honestly I don't go anywhere that would require me to be away from the scoot for more than 15 min. and if I go to a ...

Re: Mirrors.

Am getting ready to add extenders and am attempting to take off the mirrors which are on super tight. My question is are they reverse threads so turning right is loosening? As an FYI I was finally able to get the mirrors off. On my 2018 both bottom bolts are reverse threads while the top adjusting ...

Coolant Level Confusion

I'm wondering about how to tell if the coolant level is OK. I thought I read somewhere that the level in the reserve tank should be on the low side when the engine is cold and on the high side when the engine is hot. Can anyone confirm this or ...?

Re: what do you think about a fitted bed sheet for a cover?

I bought an OEM Honda cover on bikerzbits SKU (08P34-KVB-700) for total of $44 shipped to US and had it in 4 days... easy on and off and silver color so it reflects the sun and hasn't let a drop of water in. I have indoor parking at home so I cover it at work to keep the dust and sun off it.

Technical Help or Lack there Of...

After 4 yrs of riding a Chinese knockoff and numerous problems and all of the forums and youtube videos about fixing them, I knew right away the PCX was the right choice for me... because while this forum does exist, and as with any machine, things can break or go out of wack I am glad to see that t...

Re: For your consideration

After 4 years with a Chinese knock off and the constant problems, I decided to go for a PCX. I use my scooter as my main transportation and while I was able to fix most anything that went wrong, it became more of a nuisance than a pleasure to own a scooter. I carried spare parts and a full set of to...

Re: Lifespan of Tires & Battery

Searching on google.....I seen several tire manufactures have a date stamped on their tires, and suggest not to exceed this date regardless of mileage...typically it's 6 years The factory tires seem to be rather hard rubber, which makes them not so great in the wet weather....not sure if they were ...

Re: EFI and Non Ethanol Gas

I want to use ethanol free gas because it can deteriorate fuel lines and other parts All Honda PCX (and Forza) scooters are intended for use with up to 10% ethanol (E10). Absolutely no damage whatsoever will come from using E10 fuel in a PCX. There is absolutely no benefit whatsoever from using eth...

Re: EFI and Non Ethanol Gas

Don't know if this information has been maintained or updated but I would appreciate a pure gas alternative. Looks like I would have to ride all the way to Joliet Airport. You are lucky 8) https://www.pure-gas.org/ Up until WAWA gas stations came to our city there was nothing close to me that offer...

EFI and Non Ethanol Gas

Since buying my 2018 PCX except for the first fill up by the dealer, I have been putting ethanol free gas in the bike. I drive exclusively city streets between 40-50mph and am averaging 83 miles to the gal. I expected to get a bit better mileage using pure gas (89) octane and am wondering if the efi...

Re: Stolen PCX125 Not Starting

Due to fuses blowing, I'd got out on a limb and say there is either a loose wire or one not connected properly which may or may not be causing the starting issue but all the same should be checked. Since it is tied to the left hand side, I would remove the switch and see if all is intact. The fact t...

doesn't the handle have to be depressed for the engine to start? I always use the left so don't know if the right side will work. If fuses are blowing, I think it is a grounding issue...

this may be off topic, but am wondering what kind of miles you cannot off the stock IRC tires? I know a lot of variables come into play like driving habits, inflation, road conditions and such, but am curious about the avg. life of the tires...

Re: BIKE JUST STOPPED

I am curious how many miles on the scooter when this happened? I had a Chinese knockoff and this happened to me as well after about 500 miles, but after putting on a higher quality belt never had another problem with it, but I would hope that honda belt would last
