I once got a flat and loaded up my bike in a Ford Escape... Laid on its side with the rear hatch open for 2 hours. No issues at all...

Re: JASO MA2 or MB engine oil question

Details..

These bikes will run on almost any oil IMO.. Run plain Automotive oil (I always run Mobil 1 full synthetic in all my Honda Scooters). No need to run any dual blend oil unless you like to waste $$.

Re: Noise with acceleration

Thanks. I'll try to post a video. You happy with the NCY for a variator upgrade? Recommend it over a Massimo? NCY variator and NCY Driveface is a great combo. Gained almost 10mph on the top end. Adding very light weights gave me the crazy accelerator (but you do lose MPG if thats an issue for you)....

Re: Noise with acceleration

9K miles seems a good refresh for the CVT. Inspect the clutch shoes and springs. Make sure everything is alright. If you are already going to open up the CVT I would recommend upgrading the Variator. Cheap mod but Very much worth it. Try getting a video of this should. That description could be anyt...

Re: Tire recommendation?

,which is close to what is stamped on tire wall !! The less pressure used the more slide you will feel !!! Always go off of the recommended PSI that's on the vehicle, not the tire. That PSI is determined by the OEM depending on weight distribution of the vehicle. Same rule applies to cars. Never go...

Re: Vaccine mission

I apologize, didn't mean to put words in anyone's mouth. Thanks for the reply. There is definitely a virus out there that's not the common flu (although flu does kill a lot of people annually including children). I lost an uncle in Mexico to C0vid. Older, obese, poor access to hospital/ventilators. ...

Re: Vaccine mission

Been vaccinated. As far as I'm concerned everyone has a social responsibility to get the shot. Among other things, this is a highly mutagenic virus. The less of it there is out there, the less chance of mutant strains. And of course I owe it to others not to be a vector. YMMV I understand your poin...

Ima have to look at my bike when I get home. I don't recall it being an issue.

Re: comparison of PCX/SH/Forza 125s

I rode 600 sport bikes in my late Teens, then graduated to 50cc Ruckus game. Did that for almost a decade and still have my 49cc Metropolitan (just waiting on an engine rebuild). I always wanted a 100+cc bike that is EFI so Its bulletproof reliable between engine rebuilds . The PCX has been without ...

Re: Anybody in U.S. pay for Roadside Assistance that wasn't with your insurance company??

If you ride further than 50 miles from your house and don't have easy access to a truck or a friend with a truck, I would recommend Roadside.

I ran into this issue when I got a Flat During Super Sunday in 2018, thankfully my brother was in town and we shoved the bike into a Ford Escape. ha ha ha ha.

Re: Vaccine mission

Personally I think it’s foolish and selfish, even if you’re “younger”, do you really want to your conscience that you somehow transmitted it to an older person and they had problems? I think you missed my point. What Im trying to say is, if you are vaccinated (given if you have underlying condition...

If you are Pro-Vaccine for Covid and you are vaccinated. What is your stance on people that refuse to be vaccinated?

Re: comparison of PCX/SH/Forza 125s

I cant help you with specifics, but I was considering the SHi at first but went with the PCX due to this forum and knowledge in fixing issues. The SH has been around a long time and has been revamped during that time. One thing I do not like about the PCX is the bodywork plastics - a real pain to g...

Re: honda pcx top speed issue

How many miles on the bike? Any service records? If its high mileage I would recommend a belt change if its original or it has a lot of miles. Usually high rpms but low top speed is a work belt or worn rollers. Given that you would need to open the CVT, its highly recommended to purchase a new upgra...

Re: Year and Fuel request :)

What fuel do you all reccommend as i want this bike to last a lifetime! Second question: where do i find out what year this model is from? Cheers, Dutchy As for Fuel, I always run the highest available in my area which is 91octane since its Fuel injected. You can definitely get away with lower octa...

31mph max for a bike that should go well over 50mph? Something is definitely wrong. Return to the dealer and have them inspect it.

What Jge64 said. Nothing a little wire brush and rust prevention spray paint. Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer Aerosol Spray. Then paint it black.
