Re: New PCX Rider
Leaving for the Keys on Friday. That should make for some nice riding. We're staying in Islamorada and may make the trip to the Scooter Capitol of the world (Key West) for a day Oh so jealous! Gonna leave the car in Homestead so you can scooter all the way to KW? What a perfect ride! My first visit...

Don't have to go too far to get the red/white, they sell it in Canada. It's called Maple Leaf and Pearl,... or something patriotic like that.maddiedog wrote:I've liked the white and red ever since they released it too

Re: HELD Arctic Glove quick review
I have found it is as much a function of the gloves (or any other winter riding wear) to keep the wind out as much as to keep your hands warm. I have some simple insulated leather gloves which are doing a fine job of keeping out the chill.

Re: Givi D323DT
After too many false starts, I was finally able to get a vendor to send me a windscreen. I would have preferred Ermax +25, but I couldn’t find someone serious about sending one here !?! So I settled for the tall Givi. It arrived today on the coldest day of the year so far. 28F Brrrrrrrrr Looks great...

Re: The most miles per tank
When riding my 50cc scooter, I learned which are the best roads for covering the most distance with the fewest stops and the most gentle traffic patterns. My first few weeks with my PCX I stuck to what I knew and didn’t drive too aggressively, and got stupendous mpg. My first tank of gas “filled” by...

Re: key stolen
since I put a cover on my bike whenever possible to keep the rain and bird poop off, the cover covered my keys and no one could see my mistake. Good point! Before I had a garage, I always kept my bike under a cover. All I had was a tarp sewn together on the ends to make an envelop, which was far le...

Re: Premium brand petrol or supermarket fuel?
I'm wondering what figures I'll get with something like a Premium grade. As the PCX is so good on fuel it won't cost the earth to give it a try. Expect zero improvement in performance and mpg. True, it will only cost a few cents, but you need to compare several tankfuls to get any meaningful data. ...

Re: New Member in Arizona
Good luck on that Ermax. Seems they are widely available everywhere but the US. I tried twice to order one from the other side of the pond, but with no luck. Had to cancel my orders due to shoddy customer service or just ignoring my order. Presently I'm waiting to see if the tall Givi I ordered will...

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the US. I'm sure there will be plenty mashed potatoes left over after all the feasting. Could you use those instead?Taz wrote:You can just slice a raw potato and rub that on your inside visor too

AGREED!figurehead71 wrote: personally I think an inverse colour job would look nicer.
I do like the way the red comes stock. I wouldn't change it.
However, if white had been available in the 150, I would have bought it first.
That said, I think this is probably one of my favorites:
