Re: What has been your longest continual ride on the PCX?

I’ve done a couple of all day rides. Fun bike at 50 mph or less. I usually stop every 45 minutes to give my butt a break and get a drink. That seat is brutal.

PCX 150 at freeway speed.

Do you folks feel comfortable on the PCX at freeway speeds 60+ mph? I took mine on the freeway 3 times in two days. Bike feels a little small to me for freeway speeds. Lots of wind buffeting, really squirrley on grooved pavement. It probably just me. I don’t even take my big bikes on the freeway.

Re: Idle Stop

Is this a standard feature on PCX’s? My 2018 doesn’t do it and I can’t find any info on it in my owners manual.

Locks

Do you use a lock on your scoot, other than the steering column lock? I use a kryptonite chain lock when the scoot is put up for the night. I’ve been thinking of getting a kryptonite disc brake lock for when I’m running around town.

Re: The Wave ...Obsolete ??

There are so many scooter and motorcycle riders here I’d never have my hand onthe handlebars. The down lows when they happen are on the back roads where there aren’t that many riders.

Re: Scooter Tag

In addition there are time limits. You have 2 hours to post a new tag after capturing the old one. If the current tag has not been captured within 96 hours (4 days) any player can start a new tag.

Re: Scooter Tag

Absolutely correct. You must ride to capture the tag. You can then post your new tag from a picture in your library if you wish. I typically keep riding until I find something interesting as a new tag. Equals more fun, longer ride.

Re: Scooter Tag

Do we have this right? Umm, I don't think so. We now have 4 photos above with 3 others that followed incorrectly. Go back. gn2 shows his bike with his chosen tag: "a boat" - seen in the water. We now need Your photo of your bike with his named tag, "a boat" - in the water. Once ...

Re: Scooter Tag

You have to grab the boat tag first. Take a pic with your bike and a sailboat. Post that pic, then post your bike with the mural which becomes the new tag. The object of the game is not to stump the other players, but to tag relatively common objects to keep the game moving. I posted the rules from ...

Just for confirmation, that's a three masted tall ship in the background.

Does any sailboat work or does it have to be three masted.

Scooter Tag

Wondering if there is a thread on here for this game? I haven’t found one. Basically it’s take a picture of your scooter in the foreground with the object (I.e. bakery) other riders ride to find then post a pic with their scoot and the object. First to post then grabs a new tag (I.e. bar). Repeat. I...

Re: Tourmaster Draft Air 3 Jacket

Have the same Tourmaster jacket. The liner is great for rain and wind into the upper 50’s for me. A thin fleece underneath will get me another ten degrees before I need my winter weight jacket.

Oahu. Pretty good rides here as well. Waianae mountains, North Shore and Waimea Valley. I’d love to ride the road to Hana (Maui) on it. Curves forever.

Hi from HI

Long time rider new PCX owner. Just bought 2 PCX 150’s here in Hawaii. Wife and I are looking forward to exploring the island on them. On the mainland we ride Burgman 650’s. Here’s a pic of one of our rides.
