I didn't need to create an account. I just clicked the play arrow at the bottom of the screen and it started playing.

Re: Honda Parts - where ?

I've had good luck with cheapcycleparts.com. The items I have received shipped from the midwest, which is good for me. Parts have come in genuine Honda packaging. Does anyone else have any experience with them god or bad?

Re: A few upgrades

Looking good!

Do you have the part number for the K&N air filter? Also looks like you put the stock cover back in place? I'm looking at some rim tape as well. Can't hurt to be more visable at night

Thanks

Re: HAM Radio on the PCX

My rides usually are to State Parks and places with a view. So, while I enjoy a lunch, I'll spend some time modulating.
Plus, if I am at a place with no cell service, HAM ALWAYS WORKS!!!

Re: HAM Radio on the PCX

I was wondering about the transmit current draw as well on a mobile radio. Dave, Are you going to deploy the slim jim antenna only while stopped or are you going to mount it to the scooter?

Re: HAM Radio on the PCX

Interesting solution for the ground plane. I've seen a metal baking sheet strapped to a rack with a mag mount stuck on it but I'm wanting a bit cleaner install! I have an extra Yaesu 7900 here. May have another project on the list

Re: HAM Radio on the PCX

You You,

A Yaesu FT-7900 would be ideal with the detachable head/mic mounted on the handle bar area and the radio remotely stored under the seat. I'm not sure how I would mount an antenna for it. The HT would be an easier solution if the higher power of the mobile wasn't necessary.

Re: HAM Radio on the PCX

Dave, I've been wondering the same thing. A PCX with a dual band radio would be a great tool for support on bike rides, marathons, etc. I'm going to see if RAM has a bracket available for my HT.

Re: Finally pulled the plug!

Speaking of lawn mowers, I am glad that Honda thought enough about changing oil on the PCX that they actually put a bottom drain plug in. On my Honda lawn mower they have a recommended schedule for changing the oil, but they don't provide a drain hole in order to drain It! That means that I have to...

Re: i hate dirty oiil

I change the motor oil in my scooters once a year and the final drive every other. The mileage never warrants a change. I've always been concerned about the oil and additives breaking down over that time span and not providing the desired protection. I understand that I need to ride more to increase...

Re: Location! Location! Location!

I just tried to do my own map, and plan on being around a while. It would probably be better if the map were somehow associated with the site, but for now maybe this will show where people are. This link should let you add your location: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NlP7xk7KMdJReQnm-iDhldFBdpQ...

Well we missed the June event but maybe next year bro?
Well, maybe something a bit closer to home? I don't think I'd be welcome in my STL Cardinals apparel.

Re: Location! Location! Location!

Is there some way to search the forum to find members that are nearby? It might be helpful to get info about local shops or if there are local groups that get together to ride. Just curious if there is some way to query this.

Thanks,

Re: 2017 PCX 150 Windshield Windscreen What do you use in U.

I'm using the National Cycle VStream Tall Touring Windscreen (part no. 50003). I installed it a couple weeks ago and has been much nicer riding to work on these cooler mornings. The hand deflectors help but could be a bit wider. I am 5'10" and the top of the screen is just under eye level. I we...

Re: A small victory, plus "Preaching to the Choir"

I had the same experience. I just purchased a 2016 PCX150 from the local dealer two weeks ago. I got it home and started reading the owners manual. The manual described the tool kit and its contents. I called the dealer to inquire about my missing kit and the gentleman informed me that all that is i...
