Re: Riding with a passenger
Welcome to the forum I'm not on a Forza am on a pcx 125.Riding 2 up is a blast go for it. Back rests I'd recommend a back box instead when you go anywhere you have a place for both lids. Uphill you won't have to get off and push. The 2CV on the other hand you probably would end up pushing. I seem to...

Re: Noise from behind me
I always use ear plugs too. Full enclosure is just too restricting for me. The riding noises are like a symphony. When you hear a bad note or someone comes in late on a cue it stands out like a bad penny. That's kind of how I look at things when I ride. So the moral to the story is "Life is go...

Re: Noise from behind me
Thanks Fish will be on for the 5k service soon will check it out. I don't hear it when the bikes on the centre stand but seems under load I do. And yes a bit early for open face it's a bit fresh still in the UK! I like the wider view with open face at scooter speeds I feel safe.

Noise from behind me
Hi Folks
Have swapped my full face helmet for an open face and since doing so at certain revs and more so when de-accelerating I can hear what sounds like a bearing noise or some form of vibration. Any ideas what this might be?
Thanks

Re: No more PCX for me
Hax what happened to you and many others is horrendous and especially the response from police seeing as you were attacked. No one knows what they would do in the same situation. Sad that you've lost the convenience a scooter offers and that these scum bags get away Scot free every time. Need better...

Bike theft who is responsible?
http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-general-news/london-mayor-calls-bike-firms-make-motorcycles-harder-steal It's a staggering statistic 163% increase on last year. My little PCX 125 could easily be lifted into a van it's so light. What can the manufacturers do? I'd like to see a taser style di...

Re: Crampbuster
Can't see myself doing long enough journeys on my PCX but can definitely recommend the device. I had one on my Burgman for longer journeys/motorway riding. On and old CB500 I used a 50pence o ring in-between the throttle and handlebar that worked great as cruise control to give your wrist a break.

Fines for not clearing windscreens of frost
Last week we had a frost and most of the cars had iced up windscreens. Riding up to a junction I noticed someone had scraped a hole just enough to see forwards but no kind of peripheral vision. As expected they pulled out on me but I'd already slowed as expected it. It made me think that cannot be l...

Re: Happy end to a sad story
Little sods!! Result that the insurance paid off and you got a brand new PCX. Does it not fit inside your side entrance? Two little so and so's ran off with my habana last summer although I got lazy with locking it up. Have since put a 9ft gate at the side of my house and disc lock and chain it. If ...

Re: Remove(increase) Rev limit
I wondered this, with CVT transmission are we not limited by when the belt is all the way out on the variator? As in that's as fast as you will go regardless of what revs?

Re: Across Australia on a PCX150
G'day PCX fans, I've just completed a two-week, ~9000km trip across Australia on my missus' 2014 PCX150 as part of a bigger charity ride to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. As this forum appears to be the best source of information on the PCX on the web, I thought I shou...

[quote="JohnL" It's not hard to be first off from the traffic lights. I consider the race is over once I'm across the intersection, and to celebrate my many wins I usually stand up and wave my arms like a GP rider and bow to any pedestrians . I keep a bottle of fizzy wine under the seat to...

Re: Self-authored Honda Forza 300 Review
I read both reviews and both are very entertaining and honest. Shame we can't keep more bikes that we love if only finances would allow I'd have a garage full. Similar to the wife's shoe/bag collection... One for every occasion. The Forza looks alot like the PCX

Re: Newbie from UK
Bump start a big bike? Not wishing to call out your age but how many years ago was that! I never had to do the modern online test thing and was mostly just a ride around and the guy stepped out to make sure I didn't go over the handlebars on an emergency stop but bump starting lol. Engine braking is...

Re: Newbie from UK
Honestly other than feeling the brakes as with any bike to save Red faced spills you'll hop on a pcx a find it a very easy ride is really nothing to it just twist and go and enjoy the relaxed nature/ride the Pcx offers. From other posts on here first service is just a change in oil which is easy eno...

Re: Newbie from UK
Did they let you have a go? My local Honda dealer did but I decided to go for a 2nd hand 2015 model not a new one. The c90 was indestructible and I think the Pcx will equal it in reliability! Ask any questions you like is plenty of experience on here although all will be biased towards the Pcx and I...
