iceman wrote:As you say when warmed up, could be the air temp sensor (this is seperate from the TPS)
Iceman, i think the TPS assy holds 3 sensors including the air temp. sensor, i already replaced it.

Re: Bike stuttering at constant speeds

You say stuttering at constant speed, is this any speed? When you inspected the belt did you take any measurements or just a visual check?. Has your maximum speed decreased? It stutters at any speed, mostly when engine is warmed up, i've checked and measured the belt, within limits, maximum speed d...

Re: Bike stuttering at constant speeds

I had a recall from the local HONDA dealer, the LED control unit had to be replaced, so i thought that this was the best oportunity to let them take care of the problem. When i got the bike back, the LED unit was replaced but they couldn't find the fault, the simple reply from the mechanic was: ther...

Re: Bike stuttering at constant speeds

I think that if it was the TPS you would notice some hesitation on acceleration and jerking. At constant level speed perhaps fuel delivery and perhaps coil failure if so equipped on this scoot. Did this first come to light immediately after the valve adjustment ? No, it started before valve adjustm...

Update after my holiday: Read the fault code with the DTC, it said code 1-2 MAP sensor high voltage, followed the troubleshoot guide, all ok. Reset the DTC, fault still present with no mil indications....then i checked the TPS while this is housed in the same sensor and noticed that the resistance f...

Re: Bike stuttering at constant speeds

To me it sounds like bad sparking break down, the dia tool would be nice to have so you could see real time reading while you are running. It sounds like the crank sensor is failing and would be what I would look at. If the tps was bad you would see it's values bounce when steady throttle is appile...

Hi guy's, I was wondering if somebodybody could help me out?, since a few weeks i'm noticing a stuttering in the engine at constant speeds, it feels the same as the rev. limiter kicking in but less. Hi all, Just mounted a Givi D1136ST screen on my PCX and went for a test ride, i was expecting less windforce on my chest and less noise around my helmet but during the ride i noticed wind turbulance some 55" behind the screen, just in front of my chest  untill some 35" behind the scr...

Re: I think I need some opinions on this

Hi Mel, I've spent a lot of time on simulator training for the C-130 in Tampa, the hotel we've used to stay was next to the the laser spine institute, i saw people in wheelchairs in the morning and walking during the happy hour after they went for a treatment there. You might know that dutch people ...

Re: Anyone Speak Dutch?

Overall a very positive review and thumbs up! the only thing he mentioned as a area of concern is the fact you can't put a european sized foot anywhere, there's not enough space around the shifters.
In summary this is the perfect urban bike.

Cheers, Ronald.
