Re: Rear shocks upgrade options?

Powerbypcx.com has some as well. Compare prices. I'm not sure which one works on your particular bike version though. 2012 was an odd year. My bike as built in mid 2012 but was considered a 2013 model. In your part of the world they may go by the manufacture date. In any case, powerbypcx.com use to...

Re: New shocks ordered

£500 ?? Wow. Well, there are some who have spent more than that for their shocks. I was happy to spend $150 for replacement shocks. Powerbypcx.com has some good shocks, but I am sure Ohlins are much much better. I hope they serve you well, and your pcx lasts as long as they do. I suspect that if th...

Re: Windshield restoration

I just read all of that in one breath... Ok, so after all of that action I guess that you will ride your bike around with the basic windshield instead of a taller one for bad weather? Until I read some of you guys stuff I did not know you could get tall windshields to be honest Sent from my SM-G930...

Re: Windshield restoration

Ok if you want the details lol first it is a stock windshield with 5 years of ware on it my weapon of choice is a rotary action polisher with a 3" backing plate I wouldn't use a dual action it will not have the speed or the cutting power for this type of work then we come to the pads all 3.5&qu...

Re: eclipse...

Apparently a 90% eclipse is not enough... If you didn't know something was happening you would have missed it. I won't fall for that banana again unless it's 100% blocked overhead. 5XK1m5zMmyI That's a shame that it did not pan out for you as I said I remember it being so abnormal that to this day ...

Re: eclipse...

Just watched a live stream on YT in Oregon, I guess it would get cold really fast. Women looking for more cloths in the moments it passes. Something I need to consider if I'm going to ride it in about an hour. Really very humbling for people in as much as the things we take for granted and then BOO...

Rear shocks upgrade options?

Whilst cleaning and generally familiarizing myself with my bike I came upon the rear shocks and looking at them they seem to be original parts and are looking a little worse for wear as I will be dismantling most of the bike for a overhaul in general now is as good of a time to make changes as any s...

Re: Hi all new member

Welcome. I trust that we can be of some help along the way. I am not sure if you are aware of it, but the early model PCX (which I believe yours is) had a problem with the center stand mount on the crank case being weak. This led to several cases of cracked crank cases. As such, many of us with the...
