Bikebandit has parts for the 2018 model. I hope you have a service manual and are not afraid to take your bike apart.

Got into minor wreck, where to find new plastic?

Hey all, LTNS. So, today I got into a minor fight with a pole after being run off the road (yay!) and my left side plastic is busted. I have a 2018 "jasmine white" (that was the name on the sticker on the fender) and Id like to find someplace that has one already painted. Either that or Im...

I have no idea wtf this is. PCX gods, help me!

Unrelated but equally confusing: why's there a little square hole beside the ignition in the plastics?

Re: to read or not to read...

i try to be succinct as possible, but my penchant for prose occasionally gets the better of me. I also *attempt* to use my posts for multiple questions, to keep the clutter down (unless that are totally dissimilar).

In other forums, I do also include a TL;DR version in case I am a windbag.

Re: Show me your aftermarket lights

I'm the one with the partially stripped PCX. I replaced the front turn signals with LED Flood lights (High Beams) and relocated my turn signals. I added underglow lights to the front and rear, but I bought new ones for the front and will be replacing them. I added strip LEDs turn signals to the bac...

Re: What do I need in order to make my bike "keyless"

Funny how we're going full circle with ignitions. This is how we used to do it in the Army :D PFFFT. my harley sportster, after MUCH hacking and removing, had a key to bring life and a METAL PLUNGER ON THE STARTER to turn it over. Oh, and it was behind the uncoated exhaust (I was a smart one...) my...

Re: What do I need in order to make my bike "keyless"

Smartkey is very convenient. The alarm is very useful. I never lost my smartkey even once, I wear it with a strap on my neck. Ignition switch will automatically lock itself once youre far from the scoot. To topic it'll probably be ideal to sell the old scoot and buy the keyless models. if there wer...

What do I need in order to make my bike "keyless"

I've seen that some PCX's came with a "twist and go" ignition and I REALLY like that idea. A proximity sensor sounds like great fun, and since it also seems to come with an alarm module so much the better. But I havent found much by way of information about it, nor what parts I need or a h...

Show me your aftermarket lights

So a while back I posted something asking about how much spare juice the PCX had, because I originally was thinking about putting some stupid bright LED ADV lights on the bike for better night time vision. I've since more or less abandoned that idea and part of me wants to do something stupid like p...

Re: A small victory, plus "Preaching to the Choir"

Don't forget that fuse puller bit of plastic. Checking/changing a fuse without it (or a pair of needle-nose pliers) is damn near impossible. And I actually bought another helmet hanger after I lost the one off the Forza. I use the hook ALL the time on the PCX. i didnt get a fuse puller, but ill add...

Re: A small victory, plus "Preaching to the Choir"

I'm a bit confused (normal state for me) - you're saying you've got the tool bag, but it only has the helmet strap in it? ie no tools? When I got the bike, it had the bag with the helmet strap in it and nothing else. I was convinced there was more (even the manual mentioned it) so I started my sear...

A small victory, plus "Preaching to the Choir"

Ever since I got my 2018 PCX I've been missing my "tool kit". The sales guy and I made a deal to where the dealership would just order me the correct stuff and all parties would be happy (was something like $25 total, so no skin off their nuts) Today, it FINALLY came in. 1000 miles and a m...

Hanging out in the Chop Shop...

My buddy told me of a project he was working on. Apparently one of the crew got a $50 Vespa with a seemingly "haunted" past and was going to polish a turd: Make it run, make it low, 0 suspension. Of course I came by to help, and tinkered with the PCX a little. Can you count how many scoots...

Camping with the PCX! Gear test fit

OK, so in my intro post I mentioned I'd get some pics of the PCX with some camping gear loaded up. Well, I did better than that. uKNl7RrBers In the video, I try to show you (in one take, so please excuse the motion and sound) how much my PCX can hold. From a modular hammock system to a large 2 perso...
