Re: Best British import since muffins
They're not really regarded as being English, never mind British. I think that's just a bit of branding at your end. The only time we'd really come across them is at a certain American fast food restaurant. Yup - never really seen an English Muffin 'til I moved to the States... Now, crumpets are a ...

Re: Seniors & shingles
Well I just got my first of two Shingles shots. My doctor was nice enough to let me know that if you have a compromised immune system you are urged to get the new ones. I had the vaccine 10 years ago but my doctor warned me that it was no longer good. Do whatever you want but I have Leukemia so i a...

Re: Riding with a passenger
I can't believe anyone thought it was safe to put the gas tank under the driver's seat! It is hard to imagine those French 2CVs as comfortable either. As for the Lada, well it is Russian so the styling was stolen from some other car maker. They don't seem to have any imagination. I am guessing Ital...

Re: Seniors & shingles
I had part one of the new shot last week. It was free under my employers health plan. I am supposed to get the 2nd one after 2 months minimum and 6 months maximum. As I retire on Friday, and will then be on Medicare, the Dr said the 2nd one's co-pay would be $15 - $25 or so. Cheap insurance for what...

Fabulous movie! LMAO What's yer favorite line in the movie? Also, my wife's and my favourite movie!! We were driving from Denver to Tucson one summer. I don’t know where everybody gets this that the braking system is bad on the PCX. I have ridden for 40 years and I’ve clamped down on both my pcx levers in a couple emergency situations, and gotten great results. My CBS will stay, You may be different. Totally agree! :) (I will also keep my NBC and...

Re: PCX150 shocks
Here is a quote from one of our threads that was discussing the YSS shocks: The XXL shocks are for fat asses like me, 200 pounds +/- XL are for lighter riders. Actual size is the same. (I don't recall who wrote it. It isn't mine :-) Also, here is a page from bikerzbits.com that displays the caniste...
