cant say i have noticed any shake on mine, quite smooth though sometimes i can hear/feel a slight clunk when the engine idle kicks in or stop lol
definitely take it back to the dealer and get them to test ride it, if its that bad i'm sure they'll put it right.

Re: Gadgets

The 2 gadget i'm looking for at the moment is a clock (preferably digital) for the PCX and waiting for christmas to buy a Canon...

Re: How to protect my scooter over winter?
I normally ride it over the winter and when i dont, at most it'l only max 2 months before riding again. If its going to sit outside then definitely get a good cover, R&G does a really good one which I used for 2 years on my sports bike, held up fine. Apart from that I would say remove the batter...

Re: Tire choice source in the US
i'm not threadjacker!
Well hopefully they get more tyre options, its been 2 years and only the city grips and diablos are the only 2 other tyres i know of to fit the standard size.
Probably due to the awkward tyre size hence not much choice.

Re: Tire choice source in the US
No matter how good the tyres are, when it's wet I just can't seem to force myself to lean, in the dry it seems fine. Guess good tyre reviews just give me a bit more confidence, on the straight no problems. Although more tyre choice is best but with only 3 to pick from, that's a lot less headache ;)

Re: Lowering seat height
White noise got exposed! I'm 5'8, can flat foot one side, all you need otherwise both foot if you slide forward. You might get use to it and not bother. This was the same when I got my gixer, couldn't flat foot it on side even with boots but soon got use to it and didn't bother with lowering springs...

whats the normal amp draw on the PCX?
Hi guys,
Anyone know what the normal amp draw on the PCX with all the lights on, engine on?
was about to get some heated grips but recall reading someone saying 5 amp was normal as there is a 10amp fuse?
The heated grips are 4amp at max setting so little leverage for the 10amp fuse?
thanks

Re: Heated Grips for PCX - recommendations
how have you wired the hot grips, is it always on?
could it be you left it on and the battery is drained? try charging up your battery and see if that helps.

Re: For your consideration
Each to their own I'd say. The pcx was designed with economy in mind, I won't be doing any performance mods. However the tops speed on a stretch of road for me is 50, the rest is 30 so top speed is not needed. Riding 2 up with the missus is fine too. So as long as the mods cost minimal its ok, but s...

not sure if its true but the eSP engines have a slightly higher rev limit hence bit more top speed.
