i recall mine on the right handle bar to be full, guess i'll check but its been through a service so doubt that gets missed out.

Re: Mom allows "scooter"
tbh, it doesnt what bike you have, the risks are still high (not that it will ease your mum's thoughts). If your getting a bike, then get one you want not what your mum says you cant have. PCX is a great bike, not sure about the 150cc as we dont have them here in the UK but my 125cc is fine for the ...

Re: Hello all! New PCX owner with couple of questions! :)
Welcome! where are you from? When I had my gixer, i was parked at the front of the house but it was on the drive so is slightly hidden, i used a rain proof cover which is quite good. A rear chain is better than a front one unless its alarmed, its even better if you can chain the bike to a pole or so...

PCX125 buzzing sound, very annoying
Hi guys, Hope theres a simple answer to this but here goes! I've noticed that my bike makes buzzing sound around 20-30mph and only when i hold the throttle to maintain the speed, its definitely the bike making this sound, if i full throttle or close the throttle the sound disappears. I tried touchin...

when you think your about to run out of juice then you manage to fill up, note the litres it takes to full tank, it will prob say another litre is inside but your mind wont risk that! lol

Re: Whats the furthest youve gone on one tank?
125 miles and on the last bar, no flashing though.
Dont like risking it so always fuel up on 1 bar as in theory I'm still good for another 20+ miles which is enough to get me to work and back.

Re: Am i the biggest wimp on the site
lol, nothing wrong with tucking her to sleep for the winter. Though i ride all year round, just not in snow or ice, i do take public transport when the temp goes below freezing, just not worth the risk or frostbites! lol Kudos to you for waxing her up too, need to wash and max mine soon, thought its...

I think it's just too fiddly and straps will scratch the body. Then again I wear my gear for work and minimal gear when I go out. All down to the riders preference or what your use to

Re: New PCX Owner in Dorset, England
Welcome, I too went from a gixer 600 to a pcx, main reason was comfort and cost. The fuel gauge is a funny one, mine stays full till about 40-50 miles then it will reduce quicker each time till you are on the last bar area approx 120 miles. Even then there's will another litre in there but u don't d...

Re: Termoscud or trousers?
I commute long distance everyday so protection is important in the crazy city. If you fall, that cover won't protect you at all, if you get proper bike trousers then your Covered, in the summer you can risk it I guess. I still use my biker gear, will be getting more casual looking gear during Christ...

Re: Termoscud or trousers?
i wear trousers and they have thermal lining.
The termoscud things work for people who wear normal clothes undernearth but trousers i would say give you warmth and more importantly protection.
Any good trousers with an inner lining should keep you warm enough.

Re: givi screen wind buffeting on helmet
well my screen has been sold for similar money i paid for it, it was def the screen as i've been riding with the original screen and its back to normal. Perhaps the screen made my helmet worst but either way, the screen was to blame for the discomfort. I may try a Puig screen instead but not sure if...
