Both of mine only get 75 to 80 mpg, but that's because I max them out almost non-stop to 70 or 75 mph.
Still great MPG, but I think that the CTX700 & NC700/750 will get around the same MPG at those speeds, plus it can hit 100+ mph if that's your cup of tea.

Coolant light came on, but I kept riding as it was 1st day @ new job! It shut off, I added water, but still rides sh**ty
The coolant light had come on before, and I've managed to ride for a few miles without any noticable issues before bring able to fill with the *proper* Honda coolant... But I rode today for perhaps 12 miles, before I first starting having issues. It finally started bogging down right as I was passin...

Re: How to: Valve Adjustment for Honda PCX
Just did another valve check this morning. I waited about 4300 miles since my last one. Everything was exactly in spec and didn't need to be adjusted at all!. I think people will be fine doing the valve adjustment every 5000 miles. However, I would still be sure to do the first two on schedule (600...

Re: Hurry Up and Wait
Similar situation here... Except the dealership (frontline employee, not necessarily someone in the know...) told me that they aren't even ordering the PCXes anymore. Or they might've said "We don't get the PCX150 anymore, only ADV150s"..... Which is also true, as the PCX150 has been disco...

Re: Hit 80 mph on my 2013 PCX (164 lbs rider, tucked, drafting behind behind truck)
I very rarely ride on the interstate, but ride daily on a 45 to 55 mph highway where everybody is riding 15+ over the speed limit. I can't really say I *want* to ride much faster, but I am curious how in the world I was able to even get up to 80 mph. Never happened with my first belt & set of ro...

Hit 80 mph on my 2013 PCX (164 lbs rider, tucked, drafting behind behind truck)
I know that the commonly mentioned top speed for the 2013 was 74 mph after upgrading to 13g rollers and new variator. I'd seen 75 and maybe even 76 mph before, but never over 76. Just a couple days ago, tho, I hit the wind just right (I'm always tucking over 70 mph!) *and* was able to draft behind a...

Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
Ok, well... Scratch the first bit. Apparently the 2021 model year *was* the first PCX[160]. Even the *old* PCX150 kicks ass for a light ol' flatlander like myself, but I always seem to have an itch to go just a little bit faster every once in awhile... but I really have no interest of going over 85 ...

Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
First of all, the 2022 is the only PCX that is otherwise known as the PCX160 elsewhere. Second of all, I think there was once a time where people said the PCX150 couldn't go 74 from only upgrading rollers and drive face.... So I've still got hope that if it can hit 75 stock that upgrades will get it...

Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
To clarify: There has been no "PCX160" model name in the US. Since the 2021 model, though equipped with the new engine, this Honda model is now called simply a "PCX". Thanks!! Feel like that's a marketing mistake, but I guess with time it will hopefully work itself out. But if A...

Re: Is the PCX160 even being sold in the States?
With the larger engine you could use the PCX for the unrestricted motorcycle license test in IL. The cutoff is 150cc. My 2019, with 149cc, would only have let me get a license for under 150cc vehicles. I wonder how much performance difference the extra cc’s make. 10 cc Absolutely makes no discernib...

Re: An OEM belt lasts 10,000 miles on the dot. How long do NCY rollers last before needing to be replaced??
Not only is the ADV 700 not available in the States, but the Forza 300 was only sold here for 1 year, IIRC. Maybe 2014? There's just not a lot of automatic bikes here for starters. And my decision ultimately comes down to the fact that I take this saying to heart: "It's more fun to drive a slow...

Re: An OEM belt lasts 10,000 miles on the dot. How long do NCY rollers last before needing to be replaced??
What exactly would I be overrating? I *am* using it daily on the highway, something like 44 miles round trip, every day, for 20k miles Perhaps your highways are different... but they vary from 45 to 55 mph, depending on if I'm in a "town" or not... but regardless, everybody drives 10 to 15...

but... if I need to go any faster that 40mph I bught a fully equipped 2005 BMW F650GS for about 3500usd... I think driving a pcx all the time at 60+ mph is a torture to the engine plus, the fuel economy is the same at high speeds but this is another story. Mmmmmm.... Yea, No!! After riding other bi...

I would like to know the alternative belts model numbers, like the Gates PowerLink, for example... Or if the kevlar belts might help or might even hurt by causing more damage in the long run... I might upgrade to the PCX160 if I can find one in the U.S. I'm definitely riding these bikes pretty hard....

Re: An OEM belt lasts 10,000 miles on the dot. How long do NCY rollers last before needing to be replaced??
Right... I'm usually always riding open throttle, around 65 to 70 mph, sometimes as high as 74 if I'm drafting or the wind's at my back. I burn thru Michelen City Grips at around 8,000 miles. I feel like it's worth it, tho, as I'm not aware of any possible alternative bikes that might be better... O...

An OEM belt lasts 10,000 miles on the dot. How long do NCY rollers last before needing to be replaced??
Self-explanatory title.... Have a 2013 and a 2016 PCX.... both of them snapped belts almost immediately after hitting the 10k mile mark. I'm about to order a couple replacement belts for both (free shipping today, plus I'll have both of them ready when they snap next year!).... but I'm wondering if ...

Re: shuddering clutch on 2016 pcx 150?
Ok, so... Yea, there's some confusion about which level actually controls the CBS, *because* the manual says something that contradicts how the bike is actually designed. Right is front only. Left is CBS (so... both!). Need to hold down LEFT brake and twist the throttle wide open for a few seconds. ...
