Re: Knocking sound

My PCX150 Has always had a light knock. Sounds like engine ping on a car when you use a gas that too low octane. Dealer said it was a normal sound. Got 4000 miles on it so I guess it is ok.

Re: windscreens and mpg on PCX 150

My personal experience with the GIVI tall windscreen on my PCX150 is that it does not seem to change the gas mileage for better or worse. It does get rid of all buffeting and for some reason makes the bike more stable in cross winds and around heavy traffic. Also. I can now ride with my face shield ...

Re: Average age of PCX/Forza owners?

I am 63 and currently ride a pcx150. I started riding home made scooters with lawnmower engins at the age of 12. Have had every size bike available up to 1200cc. I no longer tour so I downsized to the 150. I love how agile and easy to control it is. Also like the fact it will jump to 55 or 60 mpg fo...

I miss the Honda PC800 It was ahead of it's time. If it had come out now it would be very popular I think.

Re: Replace my seat with a humpless seat.

Or if you don't mind waiting a while. The 2015 pcx has a humpless seat. That should be out in a couple months. Not sure if it will fit earlier models. Maybe your honda dealer can find out.

Re: Replace my seat with a humpless seat.

You did not say what bike you have. Some people are going to a local upholstery shop. That seems to run about 150 dollars.

Re: Came off my bike

There is nothing that beats practice. Just like learning to ride you have to practice on the brakes. Spend a day braking hard on different surfaces.Dry pavement, sand on pavement, loose gravel wet pavement We can tell you all day what works for us but it takes precise control on the levers to stop q...

Re: PCX 2014 how to detach windscreen ?

Simple enough. If you look at the very front bottom of the windscreen, where the wind tunnel goes up the dash you will see two phillips head screws that hold the plastic strip in place, They are well hidden. Once removed the plastic strip will slide right off.

I have melted a lot of plastic things some on purpose and some by accident. Those marks look like what you would expect by touching the outside with something hot. I say sabotage.

Re: Givi 323 tall windscreen

Just put a 323dt on my pcx150. Love it. I am 6ft tall and see over the top of it by a couple inches. I can ride with my helmet lid up and get no wind noise at all now. The bike seems much more stable now in cross winds and when following a big semi tractor. Only one tank of gas through it so far sin...

I would buy a tube of black silicone caulking compound and put a small bead around the hump.
It is very flexible and being black no one would even see it.
