Re: pcx125 2015 rear budged suspension

I'm no lightweight at 120KG, plus another 30+ KG when I'm taking my son to school. I upgraded to YSS Z series XXLs and couldn't be happier.

Re: Aftermarket shocks, which ones meant an improvement?

I installed the YSS Z series XXL shocks on my PCX. Made a huge difference. No more bottoming out on bumps or potholes. And, they look great. https://bikerzbits.com/yss-z-series-shock-absorber-pcx-125-150.html What's the difference between the XL and XXL shocks on that page?? I'd like to get a smoot...

Re: OBD port?

Not 100 percent certain because I don't have this feature but I seen it on youtube with another Honda scooter. Warning to all the rest of us without the new oil change light... don't do this  It will disable the limiter and you will go 100 mph. With ignition off push & hold the clock butt...

OBD port?

My 2017 125cc PCX needed an oil change. This was done, yet there is still the message 'Oil Change' on the dash. How is this cleared? Is there a procedure? Is there an OBD tool or similar available for the PCX? I've seen many OBD tools online, but not sure which one works on the PCX. Also read somewh...

Sidecar?

This may be one of the stupidest questions asked here, but, does anyone run a sidecar on their PCX?
Does anyone know if they are available, or have any info or experience with them?
As our speed limit here is only 50 KPH, I think a sidecar 'should' work OK.

Re: Two up hill climbing

Thank you all.
Lighter rollers or sliders seem to be the consensus.
Are sliders better than rollers for my application?

Re: Two up hill climbing

OK...
Starting to get confused here.
To climb hills better, I need lighter rollers, an upgraded variator and drive face (recommendations?), and perhaps even a new clutch?
This is fast moving out of cheap n easy territory.

Re: Two up hill climbing

Yep. 50 KPH. Not a typo.
So, it's as simple as adding lighter rollers to improve hill climbing?
Thank you.
Not nearly as complicated or expensive as I imagined it would be.

Two up hill climbing

I live in Bermuda. Top speed is 50 KPH. We have a LOT of hills. If I was willing to sacrifice a bit of top end speed, which I'll never use, can I improve both hill climbing and acceleration from 0-50? Is it as simple as changing roller weights? Do I need a different variator? (love the looks of JCos...

Recommended vendors?

Hi folks.
Quick question.
Do this forum have a recommended vendor for PCX parts.
Do the members have any recommendations?
Are there any that should be avoided?
I know I can 'google it', but that doesn't give me any indication of who is good or bad.
Thanks for your time.

Re: Average age of PCX/Forza owners?

51, live in Bermuda. Maximum allowed motorcycle/scooter engine capacity is 150cc or 15bhp. The PCX is one of the few small capacity scooters that fit me well. Most feel like driving a motorized bar stool. The only other choice in large, comfortable scooters on the island is the Kymco Downtown. Not s...

Re: 12v socket

You could try contacting, say http://www.wd2.bm/product/honda-pcx-125cc/ and asking them if the pcx comes with a 12v accessory socket (the spec list is short and does not mention the 12v feature) hope this wasn't the dealer you bought it from :) Yes, it was. The only choice here. They said it didn'...

Does the hole look factory or home made?[/quote]

Not so much a 'hole', as a place where it should obviously have a 12v socket.

Thanks for the help guys.
Dealer told me 'That's how it came'.
Guess I'll be ordering the parts myself.

12v socket

My new PCX came with a space/hole in the glove box for the 12v socket, but it's empty.
I've been googling for far too long to try to find the correct part number for this component.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you.

3 button smart key

Hi folks.
Just got a new PCX 125.
Love it.
The manual is not in english, but I found one on this forum that will do the job.
My bike came with the keyless ignition and the 3 button remote.
Does anyone have instructions for this?
Any idea how long the batteries last?
Thanks in advance.
