Re: Cool Custom for Disability Access

Brilliant idea! :D

I'm not seeing a front brake lever which leads me to believe the designer included a brake controller that would better serve the occupant. :geek:

Re: May Be Moving On from the PCX

FWIW I'm no longer going to use PCX150Rider and will be known as "Old Grinner".

With all due respect it just seems like the right thing to do.

That said on with the ride! 8)

Re: Foggy day in Bean Town

Yeah. . .riding in that stuff can be mysterious but also a challenge if the face shield keeps fogging up.

Kind of reminds me of that movie "Storm of the Century" less the snow.

The next time you go in the coffee shop tell them "Give me what I want and I'll go away!". o_O

Re: May Be Moving On from the PCX

One other thing I'd like to add is that the price on the Zuma was within $300 of the SMax.

But they are two different rides.

I had to decide what features were more important to me. 8)

Re: May Be Moving On from the PCX

I re-read your previous posts and support your decision (it's a great machine), just wondering what you see in the Zuma that would sway you from two machines you already own to a different one. My first scooter was the 2015 Roughhouse. When I did my research it seemed to check all the boxes at that...

Re: May Be Moving On from the PCX

Sorry to see you part with the PCX150, I just shot around town on it and it's quite the urban assault vehicle. Awesome acceleration, 111 miles to the gallon, spectacular looks, and legendary reliability. It's really quite the machine. Plus you're a long-standing member here, sorry to see you go. I ...

Re: considering trading up

The dual clutch transmission is a nice feature if you are willing to go the extra $$. But it sounds like it's at a big discount already. . .and new? Wow! 8)

Be careful. Take your time. Complacency causes problems. . .be on your game.

As many years as I've been riding I have to say that "situation awareness" is one of the most important safety measures we can possess. 8)

A thunderstorm came up when I was at Andersonville (Civil War Prison Camp) with the family and my in-laws some years ago and as we were leaving we looped around the cemetery. . .very windy. . .heavy rain. . .very dark. . .very spooky. I was waiting to see Alfred Hitchcock appear in the shadows of a ...

Re: May Be Moving On from the PCX

I'm currently building a home in WinterGarden Fla. Not selling my Chicago location and undecided yet as to keeping a scoot here and buying a second there. America is GREAT again and prosperity has gone off the charts thanks to one crazy man with the biggest balls on the palnet. Upgrade, expand, dou...

Know what your needs are and go from there. Better to have too much than too little depending upon the situation. Saves you the hassle of motor upgrades later on. . .. 8)
