And you had the presence of mind to take that pic! Awesome!!!
Thanks for sharing. . .

Re: New Owner
Happy to report Michelin citygrip come as standard plus service intervals are every 4000. Hey Red Baron from London are you having us on? I mean it's OK if you are but if the Michelin City Grips and enhanced service levels and pet carrier load capacity are for real then it's just totally cool. Sorr...

Nope. . .never had a helmet stolen. They aren't exactly new. . .
I try to be discrete where I park my two wheelers when I run errands. And if I go to a restaurant or something I try to position it so that I can see it out the window from my table.

Re: New Owner
AHhhhhhh yes. . .as they say good things come to those who wait. I'm totally psyched. I've got to wait about 6 more months to get mine. Haven't ordered one yet. Hoping to get a deal on a leftover 2107 if the 2018's are out by then. Thanks for the info and if you get a chance to share any pics that w...

Wow. . .good for you. . .definitely grin material. :) So you say the "City Grips" come stock now? 2017 right? You didn't ask to have them put on as part of the deal? Also is maintenance every 4000 Km or miles? Or what service is it you are referring to. I'm in the market for a new one late...

Re: Helmet Hook
I apologize if I offended anybody with the previous post about the joke, but there really is a bike lock (you can use it for other stuff too) that causes a thief to get sick really bad. . .really bad. These locks are called "Skunk Locks" and can be purchased at http://skunklock.com/ Not tr...

Re: Helmet Hook
Due to the fact that most if not all FF helmets won't fit under the seat, does anyone use the flimsy helmet hook contraption, or is there a gadget available to lock the helmet to the bike? All you have to do is buy a couple of these. . . fakebarf.jpg Put one next to the helmet and the other on the ...

Here' more info and tips for panel removal/installation on motorcycles in general. . . http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/how-to-sportbike-body-panel-fasteners-motorcyclist-magazine-tech-tips-mc-garage I guess they suggested using a silicone lubricant. . .especially for grommets. Re: The life expenctancy of PCX, how long does she last?
I spotted this page that had some useful information for panel clip removal tools. . . See the link https://www.autoevolution.com/news/how-to-remove-panel-clips-retainers-and-trim-rivets-60970.html Since I haven't pulled a PCX apart myself yet I can't speak from experience but maybe someone else can...

Re: Weather/Wind Protection with Stock Windscreen & Front Co
It is Winter here too. Today it is 45 degrees (F) and the wind is blowing at 20 mph. I don't think very many riders can ride comfortably in this, however I am equally sure that there aren't ANY riders out in your weather. I think I prefer our weather to yours. Nope, no two-wheelers on the roads aro...

PCX150Rider - What fuel additive? Do you put any into your tank? Is there a difference in petrol when doing long trips compering to city commuting or normal riding? There are two fuel additives I add to my motorcycle gas tanks. . . seasonally. . .or under certain conditions. Generally I use Marvel ...

Just got done doing my shovel out. Fortunately I have a snow blower for the 2 foot wall where the driveway bordered the street. Cleared out the fire hydrant area as well. . . Can't wait for the additional 3 inches tomorrow night. Yesterday I took a nice walk down the beach and sat on the bench...

Totally awesome pics man. . .thanks for sharing. It's like a tour of China from home. Any Honda product I've had lasts a long time. . .especially the engines. I had a Honda Rebel 250 years ago I put about 23,000 hard miles on riding year 'round and through many storms. The exhaust pipes started to r...

Re: Prep for a 2600km trip on a 2016 PCX150
Did you buy the PCX new? Or did you buy it used and someone else did the initial break-in riding on it? If you bought it new then you know what you know. . . I'm still on cue to buy one this year but if I was going to do an extended trip I'd at least pull the CVT cover to see if there's any dust or ...

Re: Weather/Wind Protection with Stock Windscreen & Front Co
Yesterday it was over 60 degrees F. and sunny here where I live. . .
Today we have a Blizzard and are forecast to get 12 to 18 inches of snow. . .go figure. . .and more snow this weekend.
Sadly I don't think a tall fairing on a PCX would do me any good today.

I've heard about the NCY products. . .I'll keep that in mind. . .If your going to ride 2 up, Get the tall Givi fairing and the NCY variator and faceplate, and toss in 11 or 12 gram rollers.
I'm inclined to think that a taller fairing is the way to go as well. . .thanks for the info!

Re: How Does the PCX 150 Rate Carrying a Passenger?
What's the volume on the Emgo trunk? From what I've read it measures 16 1/2 inches W X 12 inches D X 11 inches H or 35 Liters. Reviews are generally good in a "bang for the buck" perspective. I'd mount it directly to a luggage rack though. I wouldn't use a removable type mount. . .but tha...

Re: How Does the PCX 150 Rate Carrying a Passenger?
I just took my neighbour's Kymco Like 50 4T around the cul-de-sac, and oh boy it was so gutless it could hardly get up the footpath (sidewalk...) back to his front door. o_O The Kymco Like 50 and 200i look somewhat like the old Lambrettas don't they? But when you sit on them they have a fitment all...

Re: How Does the PCX 150 Rate Carrying a Passenger?
A few things to consider for the PCX: The Genuine Roughhouse does comply with CARB as far as pollution levels go. It is a lot better than 2-strokes in days of yore used to be. . .and in the big picture not so bad. Motorcycle manufactures don't do the 350, 500, 750, 2-strokes anymore for the street ...
