Re: next size up tyre

Well I've managed to put bigger size tyres on my 2015 UK PCX and went
Front 90/100/14 up to 120/70/14
Rear 100/100/14 up to 140/70/14
Tiny packers/distances on air filter box and rear hugger and looks lovely and handles even better

Re: Service Manual

Hi guys Its been ages since I've last logged in but been busy with servicing scooters, bikes and cars for everybody else. Decided to buy a honda anf125 so I can strip down and do a full service on my 2015 pcx and add heated grips for this horrible weather. For some unknown reason my front keeps bott...

Re: Removing CBS?

As some of you guys have said already no need to get involved and start messing with CBS as it does its job But for those who love to mess about with tools this is how I would've done it. Buy longer rear brake cable and connect it straight from lever to rear drum. That's that sorted. Lose short cabl...

Re: Technical Brake issue Honda Pcx 125 2011

I'm pretty sure you have to strip whole front as I've done it about 3 years back on V2 PCX and it was as much of a pain in the back side as on my V3 few months back. But taking pastics off is easy when compare to changing race heads, if you just do bearings it should be easy. Make sure you do it up ...

Re: Technical Brake issue Honda Pcx 125 2011

I had the same problem, but my PCX doesn't do it when stationary only when braking and front wheel goes into pothole or any unevenness in the road, but it is a massive knock and i can even feel it in my hands, changed parts 6, 9, 2 and 1, 4, 5 with brand new Honda ones and no change (if not for wors...

Re: Tapping noise coming from bottom end of engine

So engine went back in and it doesn't have that tapping noise anymore so it was crankshaft then. On the other hand it run for about half a minute and then stoped, started again and run for about 15sec. Starting it was getting harder and harder. Wouldn't go on higher revs what so ever. Every now and ...

Re: Strawberry looking oil in final gear

You don't need to drain it completely to find out. Undo bottom bolt enough for it to start dripping. It won't hurt if you lose few ml and you'll see straight away. Mine looked like pink foam. Might be diferent colour depending on what oil honda use in final gear in your country. In UK it's 10w40 cas...

Re: Strawberry looking oil in final gear

Ok worked out what it was. Gave scooter a really good clean and noticed final gear breather hose (little black hose going to air filter box on the wheel side) was out at filter end so most probably was catching water when jetwashing or riding in rain. Drained oil again and the same story, strawbery ...

Re: Rear wheel noise...

On 2013 PCX that belongs to my father in law clutch bearings started to make that noise at around 11.5k and I've changed it at 13k miles.
I've made myself a spare clutch ready for when I'll need it, slowly hitting 9k miles on my 2015.

Re: Dyno results from a Charmo 170cc

Hi.
Is it diferent hp we are talking about? Standard pcx 125 has 11.7hp but I'm guessing it's close to 7.5whp.
Am I right?

Re: Strawberry looking oil in final gear

The way I see it.
You buy 1l of oil, engine takes 850ml max and you're left with 150ml so no worth keeping till next change but feels like shame to chuck it away. Final drive takes about 120-130ml. Hence I change my final drive oil every 2.5k miles.

pcx125 2015 rear budged suspension

Was thinking of upgrading my stock rears as I'm close to 100kg with all riding gear on and wouldn't mind better quality as I'm doing 100-140miles every week on it. Has any of you got any opinion on experience with those two sets? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-PCX-125-WW125EX2-2012-2014-YSS-Adjusta...
