Kawasaki J125

Re: Best alarm
Good chains. locks & an anchor are in use when at home. Always try to chain it to a post or similar when out.

Thanks for all your feedback.
I do lock it with chains and disc lock with siren. Perhaps a tracker is an option. Is there an annual subscription with those?

Could be tyre noise which you never noticed with a full face helmet

Best alarm
Hi all,
Been thinking about fitting alarm to my Forza and was wondering what everyone else has fitted.
I'm very competent in most aspects of vehicle build and electrics, so fitting is not an issue.
Looking to pay around £90.
Appreciate you feedback.

Re: battery issue
On the 125 Forza, the ignition switches on LED lights front & rear. Bike will also appear to be dead if side stand is down - it won't start due to inhibit switch. Forza also has a digital clock which will drain battery after 4/5 weeks of non-use - especially in winter months. I had it on mine. B...

Re: Exhaust discolouration
Well, went into dealer yesterday for photos of said exhaust. Got a call today to book it in to change exhaust under warranty.
Exhaust actually arrived today.
Good service & no arguments.

Exhaust discolouration
Hi all, Had my Forza now 8 months and covered 1200 miles, however, exhaust has started to discolour and looks quite off-putting. Downpipe to silencer has turned a brown colour with rest of exhaust remaining matt black. Most bikes are stainless steel so don't really discolour, so is Forza exhaust ste...

Re: Seeking advice for a long trip (Honda Forza 125cc)
Servicing is every 4000 miles with first one at 600 miles. I think; take it steady and arrange regular breaks to give bike & yourself a rest. If you estimate 1600 miles @ avg 50mph, it will take around 32 hours. 10 hours riding per day is more than enough - I would plan over 4 days personally. E...

Re: First (past the) Post
Hi and Welcome.
Nice to have another member. Been a bit dead on here recently.
Look forward to your review. Had mine since Sept 2016 and loving the style & features. Currently getting 25.6 m/l ( ~115 mpg ), so not bad at all.
Safe riding.

Re: UK price hike
I bought mine in September for £3700 - brand new. Guess they knew the new 17my was imminent - so trying to get rid of stock. 17my comes with keyless start, Michelin Tyres, new colours & tuned suspension, price is £4300. Mine is fine and wouldn't pay the extra for the small changes made. Bulk of ...

Re: New Forza 125 owner
Hi & welcome. I tend to have it set lower than it's highest position. It helps with buffering but wind noise is still there. Just need a good helmet to keep the noise out. I have a bluetooth system which will play music or radio - that tends to keep the wind noise at bay. Give us a report on you...

Are they not covered under warranty?? If owners report them, Honda are obliged to look at changing for an updated version which do not look old.

Re: Anyone else a bit unimpressed by Forza build quality?
Hi, Had mine now since September 2016. Only done 600 miles since new, but the miles I have done have been very pleasurable. I have damaged one of the panels trying to get through a gate at my parents, so had to order a new one @ £95 - ouch! With regards to exhaust pitting - most cars see this never ...

Plastic panel repairs
Hi all, My new Forza 125 has a deep gouge on RH painted panel & was wondering if anyone had had any repairs on theirs? I'm sure they can be filled and repaired. On another note ( in readiness for panel removal ), has anyone removed any panels from Forza 125 & if so, any images or instruction...

Re: mobile phone to use sat nav a suitable attachment
I just use my bluetooth helmet device & leave phone in cubby box on charge. No distractions when texts etc come through.
Stay safe and lock your phone away when riding. Too many distractions as it is.

A dealer in UK ordered me a new one as the original arrived with bike soaking wet. It was FOC, but they will be able to send you one.

Made in Italy so expect some build quality issues. All in all though, a great bike I think.
