Wow, England!
So lovely surroundings and your smiling PCX front.
My PCX is just 400 miles. I can run PCX ten thousand miles across China, and I would triple that distance if I rode it in England.

Sir, what engine oil do you use? is there a consensus on which oil is the best for PCX?maddiedog wrote:This stuff will be fine, and is more than adequate.
Honda ships it with a synthetic blend, so ignore anyone saying (incorrectly) that you need to use non-synthetic until break-in is done.

Mobil 4T, suitable for PCX?
This is MA i guess? can't see MB or MA anywhere. Fully synthetic. Do you gents use this or other MA engine oil? Is it better than that recommended on manual? I am planning for a long haul trip with my new PCX, to Tibet, then desert, then Xinjiang then back to eastern seaboard at south China. Does th...

Probably yes for the dreaming...
The common knowledge here in China is, a scooter will never pass the magical threshold of 100k miles. Maybe PCX is different, better quality better technology? but I doubt it will pass that.

Re: 2016 pcx 150 ticking noise
Hello, Sir, my new PCX150 is now 400KM mileage. I have the similar noise. #1 when I accelerate from 20 to 40 KM/H, I hear a kakakaka noise, over 40KM/H, it is gone. the noise comes from BELOW MY LEFT FOOT. could be the transmission. #2 when I deccelerate, there is a highly noticeable knocking noise ...

Re: Michelin City grips.. first blush
Hello, Sir,
What width of tire do you put on? is it wider than the OEM stock?
My OEM tire is the same Dunlop, I got keeled over once when I placed the break even though gentle enough.

is this option OK?
The PCX seller has a option available of Michelin 100front 110back, which is a bit narrower than I want.

Re: Tyre change, help needed for these options.
Hi Dole, If you've read thoses threads its up to you to decide if it will be too wide or not. No one can agree on this... Homie and Kramnala happily run the 120 and 140 tyres. Homie used a spacer on the rear hugger to get clearance. Whatever you do, never put a rear tyre on the front! by which you ...

Tyre change, help needed for these options.
I am thinking about putting the stock back tyre (100 wide) to the front and bin the front one.
and put a 120 wide to the back.
or, 110 to front & 120 to back
or, 110 to front & 130 to back
which combination is the best for PCX 150?
Thank you.

Re: Help, again. the PCX power supply
Thank you all gents here. I today got this problem solved. Re: Help, again. the PCX power supply
@Dole the PCX is fairly simple when it comes to electronics. If it is a fuse and it has a headlight problem, it is either the 25A main fuse, or the 10A one with "head, turn, stop, meter" written on it. Here's a wiring diagram for the LED model in this topic http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.p...

Re: Help, again. the PCX power supply
The amount of silt(?) on the battery and terminals pictured above makes me wonder if this scoot has been for a swim... Re: Help, again. the PCX power supply
I think most likely should be the "OP", second likely the "ignition fuel pump"
I am not sure. I am thinking the fuse might have a problem.

Help, again. the PCX power supply
My new PCX has a problem with lighting up when turned to ignition.
Do you gents know which fuse controls the power supply to this junction i.e. "when turned to ignition, the system should light up"?
Thank you.

Hi Doletotodole, The most likely problems: 1. Check for loose battery cable, very easy and quick. 2. Maybe your battery is defective ( It happens even in new batteries sometimes ). The charging system could have a problem but much less likely. Mike Hi, Mike, I find a repair shop to check the batter...

Re: Help! my PCX keyless remote no response...
The poster here tells everyone here that there is a problem with the keyless start or remote which I believe to be TOTALLY WRONG. The problem sounds like a weak battery, or loose battery cable , that does not have enough power to start the bike, but has enough power some of the other things that dr...
