8.6 kw for PCX - £2699
10.5 kw for Forza - £4399
A big difference in price, for my circumstances could not justify paying the extra, however I appreciate others have different needs.

Re: How to bypass the safe engine start ?
Not sure why this is necessary?
Out of interest, what would be the advantage in doing this and how would it improve the operation of the PCX. Not being funny about it, just curious!
Thanks!

Re: Idle Stop
I use it all the time, don't know how much it saves! It's a good system, usually active once I get a couple of hundred yards into my journey, and when in use there is no delay in firing back up when pulling away. Don't see any reason, for me, not to use it. There is a very good reason not to use it...

Re: PCX, IRC's and all that jazz . . .
So, unlike some I've had no issues at all with the stock IRC tyres riding in all weathers - indeed over the past few days we've had torrential downpours, flooded roads, and yesterday sleet, snow and awful riding conditions but my trusty 2.5 year old IRC's behaved faultlessly (the rear still have lo...

Re: New (soon to be) Owner
Quick update on my scooter. What with Christmas and work, haven't used or been too far on it yet, in fact have only done 150 miles in the couple of weeks since I picked it up. Today, however, had a short, 30 mile run out, catching up on things after the Christmas period. On return, left it outside t...

Re: New Colors and a New Yamaha Competitor for the PCX
I bought a PCX instead of a NMax based on actual test rides, not surfing YouTube! Couple of reasons, first the PCX is a better ride, for me, than the NMax. Found it a more comfortable ride, seat was better, even with the 'hump'. Found the brakes better on the PCX, good retardation and feel through t...

Re: Puncture advice...
Sorry to hear of your puncture! How fast is the leak? Not sure how far you are from your dealer, but would it be possible to pump it up and get there before it gets too low, even carry a footpump under the saddle, or is it leaking too much? Alternatively, the dealer may have a pick up service, may c...

I'm not a low performance person, and I am not ignorant. Your tone and the use of capital letters to shout to make your limited point is both rude and shows a lack of manners. Accept people have other views than yourself, and without the need to resort to insults to try to support your position. In ...

Re: Braking & Breaking
Happy new year Breaking in. Am I incorrect that no flying starts and no full open throttle for first 600 miles and no harsh deleceration is the safest way to go. Just keep it smooth and varied. Really cannot wait to get mine. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks You are very INCORRECT on break in....

Re: Percy the PCX125
Thanks for your thread, its a good read! Have just purchased a red PCX, but won't be doing your distances on it. If I may pick your brains, did you follow the run in period as recommended and if so, do you notice any improvement once the 600 mile service was done? Or did you ride out full throttle f...

Re: New Member
And also a few grand more.
You obviously don't like the PCX, judging by the comments you leave in PCX threads, so why don't you stick to the Forza section and stop trolling?

Re: New (soon to be) Owner
In my opinion the moto man has some good points but very inaccurate in others. For example, when the fire occurs pressure is forced equally down on the ring both in front of and in back of the ring.towards the piston but the pressure will be applied equally to both sides. the spring helps direct pr...

Hmm....Bits of misunderstanding here and there in this thread. Please try to clarify meanings of what's being said. I was following along and then....Poof! I'm lost in the woods. It's a Big world out there, and we come from all over it to meet up right here. Let's try harder to understand one anoth...

Re: New (soon to be) Owner
After a bit of a problem with my CBT course being cancelled, I managed to get another one sorted at a days notice. Having to change my insurance back to my old scooter, then back again for my PCX, at least the dealer refunded the admin costs. So I have my PCX, first impression - nice! Got her home,...

Just out of curiosity, what makes your pcx illegal, and what steps do you need to take for it to comply? Looks good in white!

Re: New (soon to be) Owner
So took scooter out for a last ride, had it for 5 years and it has been (nearly) faultless. So now it's time to give it a good clean before I pick up my PCX next week.
Cannot wait!!!

Re: rideing the pcx in the rain?
After riding for over 20 years, I believe I'm a fairly competent rider and will continue riding as I do. I'm lucky as I ride out with some DSA staff and I am more than happy to learn and follow their advice. In regards to the links gn2 posted, I did have a quick scan through, not in depth as I'm too...
