Re: Drive belt age (maintenance)

I have just changed mine. Bike has only done 6,000 miles but 5 years old.
I found a Mitsuboshi belt on ebay for £52.

Re: Belt Case Corrosion !

I have decided on Silver VHT paint for the casing, as Waxoyl says Max Temp 50 degrees
It looks OK, weather it will make any difference I don't know

Re: Belt Case Corrosion !

I have managed to wire wheel all the corrosion off the casing.
I'm gonna take the rear wheel out tomorrow and wire wheel the casing there, waxoyl it and hope it doesn't catch fire

Re: Front Wheel Wobble

The forks work as they should, the handlebars shake from side to side.
Kinda used to it, but it's still annoying.

The cover is still just hiding the corrosion underneath, as standard

Re: Belt Case Corrosion !

Iv'e started stripping the rear end of my Forza. I have previously removed corrosion and used ACF 50, it's just as rotten now.
I am going to wire wheel it and Waxoyl the casing

Re: Front Wheel Wobble

I mean if you ease off pressure on the handlebar grips, the bars wobble from side to side. at about 20- 35 mph
There is no play anywhere, the wheel is true and balanced.

Honda said it was because I had a Topbox - No it isn't

My 2016 Forza 300 has wobbled since brand new. I have fitted different tyres (Bridgestone) had top box on/off, makes no difference

Re: How-To: Gear Oil Change & Belt Filter Clean

I was in Halfords today, they had a bottle marked "10w40 Scooter Gearbox oil"
That will do.
Also took the exhaust off and gave it a nice got of Metallic Black (Grey in reality) VHT paint.
Looks quite good
