Re: Recommended rollers/sliders

I'd recommend 13 great Techpulley's with the stock variator. I found that to be a great $25 upgrade.

That looks similar to the one on my XSR https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7496/26821538336_c6a331f9f1_b.jpg IMG_0344 I don't see that that is similar to the other picture except than it has the same name and may or may not be made from the same materials...What relevance to the topic is this? S...

That isn't really what I meant. More of a VIN number range with the part number and if it is single or double cogged. Then any alternatives or substitutes if possible.

That's exactly what I need.

Re: TechPulley / Flying Pulley II

Okay, I've come to a conclusion. 13gr TechPulleys with a stock variator on a 2011 125 is definitely bang for the buck upgrade. It is very close to the NCY variator/drive face/13 gr roller combo that is advised over and over on this forum. If you are wanting more performance, try sliders first, then ...

Is the whole kit really necessary? Some posts suggested that after first doing the sliders adding the whole kit was just a subtle improvement.
In my 125, the difference is very subtle between sliders on the stock variator, and the NCY setup.

I bought it used with 800 miles on it for my wife. I'm pretty happy with the performance of it, but was wondering if I could squeeze some more out of it.

I'm not sure, but Babbitt's states the replacement as 23100-KWN-901

Will the new cogged style belt work on a 2011 PCX?

Re: Recommended roller/slider weights for 2011 PCX 125

I didn't read anything in your description about how many miles are on the belt. If you have over 3,000 miles on it, get a new belt and try it. Also rollers only help initial acceleration, not top end. That is where the NCY variator and drive face come in. Also remember that you only have a 125cc e...

Recommended roller/slider weights for 2011 PCX 125

Hello I've been experimenting with some Techpulley sliders in my stock variator recently. I've found that the 11gr sliders worked the best with the stock setup. Both the 13gr sliders and 11 gr were a definite step up in performance. Yesterday I bought an NCY variator and drive face with 12 gr NCY ro...

Re: TechPulley / Flying Pulley II

I've been using them on my 2011 125, and the work very good. Smooth torque throughout the powerband. I started with 13 great, then 11 gr. Then I mixed them, but I like the 11 gram the best, but they're all better than stock. I installed an NCY variator and drive face today with NCY 12 gr NCY rollers...
