Re: Upgrade to more then 125cc in the UK
Do they do an emissions test for the MOT, or just a sound test? Because if you are tuned to 12.8-13.3:1 AFR or something for max power, I don't think you'd pass. Putting the stock exhaust back on a tuned scoot might cause an even richer fuel mixture? They don't do emissions on scooters here. Possib...

Re: Upgrade to more then 125cc in the UK
If you have a 125cc and want to throw on a bigger cylinder kit it is technically illegal but no one enforces it. They would have to randomly strip down your bike down and measure your bore to enforce it so you're fine. When it comes to getting you bike emission/inspected simply throw in your stock r...

Re: Yuminashi 175cc BBK
Gav, I brought one of those home in my suitcase last time when I was in Indonesia. It is a straight through flowing end can , unlike the stock multiple canister setup. However reality is different from the marketing pictures. I guess, you get what you pay for. The build quality is definitely not pa...

Re: Yuminashi 175cc BBK
If it sounds anything like it does on this Click 125, I'd be wrapped. 8PDCyepjbxs That video is an absolute understatement lol. It sounds even better and more aggressive then that in person. They even include a baffle that quietens the exhaust down like how you hear in that exact video. However onc...

Wow you guys are really taking this serious haha. Am I the only one who knew this was a parody right off the bat lol?! They even went as far as imitating the typical setting/tone used in Apple press release videos.

Re: Cold start issues
It is definitely an electrical problem with one of the sensors that are being used during the Open Loop. If you really want to understand this all vs throwing your money at everything Google "Open Loop vs Cold Loop". You will see references to cars but do not ignore the information. These ...

Re: 2016 pcx150 warm up question
My comment was targeted towards this misleading post. Sorry if I came off a little crude but its bugs me when I see something blatantly wrong being spread. Especially when there are people here who are trying to expand their knowledge and are sucking this stuff up like sponges. Depends on what clima...

Re: 2016 pcx150 warm up question
I always believe that the engine will warm up more quickly when running than when it's just idling. That is true but you need to understand the point of warming up the engine and oil to get the big picture. To make things easier I'll just spill the beans. Different metals expand from rising tempera...

Re: 2016 pcx150 warm up question
Depends on what climate your operating in. Todays computerized engines do not need a warm up period but I always let my engine warm for about a minute to make sure all the oil is where its supposed to be. Just me, but if I'm in 30(-) deg temps I would give it a few minutes . Lol I guess Ferarri, BM...

Re: 2016 pcx150 warm up question
As I would have been if you hadn't warmed it up. Funny, I recall seeing a person on here with score marks along his piston skirt and blowby past the oil scrapers. In addition the clear tube at the end of his air box was disgusting and full of oil which I'm sure you know what that means... ENGINE WA...

Re: 2016 pcx150 warm up question
I've always let my bike warm up a bit I guess from being trained to do that with my car being it was a high revving long stroked motor with very tight clearances. It's probably a little OD for these scoots but it doesn't hurt... I've done so religiously with every cold start and with no surprise, my...
