Re: Honda PCX (150) Linked Brakes

PCX 150 BRAKES As has been said, the front brake does 95% of the work and it's not that good. Bear in mind the rear drum is activated in order to start the bike. I have this machine & it has many excellent qualities but brakes are not one of them. The Yamaha N-MAX brakes are infinitely better, m...

Re: 2016 PCX 150 BRAKES

Well you're in Thailand so you can get the forks from powerbypcx.com they're in Phuket. You might try asking Emmet or Heiko there if there's a 260mm rotor and offset bracket kit they know of sold in Thailand. Thanx again- went to site, to my surprise they price only in Euro or USD... in Phuket? Any...

2016 PCX 150 BRAKES

I find them a bit 'soggy' and needing heavy pressure on levers. Any suggestions for giving more 'bite'? What about better disc, pads, drum linings? Or maybe braided lines? Anyone who has tried these, or other mods is invited to advise me! I'd REALLY like more 'feel' and feedback from my stoppers...

Re: Seats from Thailand

Those prices are true for Thailand, perhaps a bit expensive- for instance, I had an old skinny seat [which describes my butt exactly!] reupholstered with two thick layers of foam and a modified 'sports' cover, fully stitched for--- 300 Baht!! . Thais work hard for a very meagre living, generally so ...

Re: How do you put air in your tires?

With a simple compact foot-pump which fits easily in the underseat. Has a right-angled connector so is perfect. Also invested in an electronic pressure gauge which reads in PSI, KPA, etc. Far more accurate than the mechanical type. "Mechanics" here in Thailand I find untrustworthy and/or i...
