Re: How do you put air in your tires?
You're pleased you found someone as ignorant about maint as you? I'm well aware of what should be done regarding maintenance, but have found from years of experience that what suits me best is to leave things alone as much as possible. 99.99% of owners never open the bonnet of a car for anything ot...

Re: UK PCX insurance - any good insurers out there
I am with Lexham, cost me nearly £350 quid for the year fully comprehensive, £350 compulsory excess. I have driving experience of 24 years but just began riding with a CBT and no experience. Not sure if this is normal but had to accept it as it was the lowest. TPF&T was mega cheap at less than £...

Re: Hello All!
There is no chain to check people except the timing one which you will not see until you do your valve check and it requires no maintenance to my knowledge. There is a belt and it requires no adjustment either. You guys can get service manuals if you want. Very helpful to have one, about 50 bucks h...

Re: Coolant change help
OK so, I have added some distilled water which I was robbed for at Halfords. I have had the PCX for less than 2 weeks. I have no maintenance skills so what has caused the water to drop? Use? High speeds? Did the dealer not fill it up correctly? If you've got nice soft tap water just use that. It's ...

Re: L plates on PCX 125 in UK
I feel very proud to have not need L plates as I have a full unlimited licence. But at time I feel very broke too to only be able to afford to ride a 125 in the city. Lol No shame in that I think. I won't be able to afford anything else so I will keep my PCX as long as possible. I love it anyways! :P

Re: Hello All!
Hi all. Finally took the plunge and got a new black PCX125. Done 90 miles in 2 days and looking forward to my 3 day commute, 20 miles each way. WELCOME! break in is only 300 miles, you should be sailing over that any day. Consider your warranty demands at 600, make the decision to do it yourself or...

Re: Coolant change help
I have a question regarding coolant, as a newbie. Can I do top ups using distilled water? Or do I have to buy the ready mixed stuff to top up?
Also, can you mix brands or do you have to flush it out? Thanks in advance guys

Re: L plates on PCX 125 in UK
Mine is on the forks on the front, thought this was the legal requirement as dealers put them on for me. Never mind. Hopefully not long before I lose the 'loony plates'

Re: How do you put air in your tires?
I hope you're being facetious. Nope. I don't check tyres unless they start to look or feel soft. Checking them lets air out. If you don't check them the air stays in. Other things I never check: oil level, coolant level, spark plug gap. TBH I just don't do maintenance, I bought it to ride it, not f...
