Re: West Virginia owners

Where in W. Virginia are you located? I have taken some nice rides out to Warm Springs. Beautiful area. We could meet up there.

Re: Average age of PCX/Forza owners?

I'm 75 years old. Bought my PCX in March of this year. I also have a Ruckus. I ride my PCX every day that is not raining.

Re: Deals Gap This Weekend (April 16)

Great trip report! I have driven this in my truck. First time I ever got seasick on a road. Super photos. Thank you for an entertaining and informative series of posts.

Re: New owner of a 2013 PCX.

Hello, and thanks! I'm the proud new owner of a 2013 PCX 150. Just purchased yesterday (4/4/16) from a private owner. 1870 miles, practically brand-new, and in great shape! I'm looking forward to learning more about my new scooter here in this forum. Congratulations! I just picked up a 2013 PCX 150...

Re: My New 2013 Honda PCX 150

Hi all, I have just purchased a new, no mileage 2013 PCX 150 from a woman who bought it because of its looks, and then decided that she really didn't want to ride on the roads at all. It has been sitting in her garage since 2014. Update: Here's a photo of the bike. It still has West Virginia plates...

Re: My New 2013 Honda PCX 150

Roberto! Fabulous find congrats!! :P Yes, do what Mel said. Let a Honda shop perform a thorough exam. Have them report their findings, then give them the yeh or neh to carry on with the fix(es). Spend now and have peace of mind knowing that your riding a safe machine. Your job is to ride, and keep ...

Re: Regular Long Distance Riding

That's good to know. I plan on a couple of long trips from Virginia to the No. Carolina barrier islands this summer. I'm mapping all the back roads. Hopefully I can stay off the highways.

Re: My New 2013 Honda PCX 150

Amazing story! Congratulations for saving that PCX from eternal storage. Get some miles on her as some will say that super low mileage borders on abuse in the street bike world. You should be looking at the front tire watching for any visual irregularity and balance when under speed. I don't imagin...

Oh, btw, the color is black. I need to spiff it up a bit (it's a bit dusty), and then I'll post some photos. :)

Re: My New 2013 Honda PCX 150

That was a great find! It reminds me of the Burgman 400 I had purchased, which also has no miles put on it by the owner. I had it trailered to the dealer for full service. As Honkerman suggested, I am not sure how dependable the gas is that has been sitting in it for all that time. I would not trus...

Re: My New 2013 Honda PCX 150

Roberto, good find! Yes, I would recommend an oil change to start, based just on the age of the oil in the crankcase. The amount is so small that it hardly figures as an expense. Glad you found a good bike, hopefully at a good price! Post a photo! An oil change would not be amiss, and you should al...

Re: Deal Fell Through

Used PCX's are around, and usually for a good price. I am sure another deal will come along. You don't have to stick to your local area, especially since you have a truck. Use Scooterfinds.com or Craigslist to locate what you are interested in. Then you can set up a visit and decide, buy it, put it...

Re: Forum Benefactor

Unfortunately, Maddiedog has been quite busy with other matters, so he doesn't get to this forum as often as he use to. His job has been demanding, plus he has a 2 year old that keeps him on his toes, and a yard that refuse to stop growing. When he finally gets a moment, he sometimes needs to unwin...

You are so right. I can't imagine having just a motorcycle for transportation. If I sold the truck we would still have the minivan.

Forum Benefactor

Hi,

Just wondering when I get a Forum Benefactor banner. I donated about 3 days ago. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area.

Thanks.
