Re: whos pcx has the most miles and how many miles is it

14,800 on my 2016. Need to book the 15k service which I've beem quoted £250.

Still rides great although I've lost some top speed as its on the original belt and rollers. Hitting the limiter at 62mph.

Valves never checked and I have no reason to ask the main dealer to check them!

Check out my owners blog. I'm just about to go over 15k and all my costs are logged.

A 2016 125 PCX. I've done 13,000 miles since 1/03/16. I think that works out at a 2500 mile service every 6-8 weeks.

Re: Percy the PCX125

Yea Percy! 10k on a 2016 very impressive Cheers. It's probably a labour of love! I must say I really envy your ride in England, actually everywhere except my area. You can get on motorways, 68 miles is really nothing on motorways. The commute is fairly mixed. 30, 50 and more 30mph zones. About 5 mi...

Re: My New PCX150H Was Delivered Today. . .Better Than Expec

Nice one. Congratulations! My 2016 is on 13,000 miles as as far as I know never had a valve check. Don't mess around getting one done unless there is a problem. Mine is serviced every 6 weeks or so by a Honda main dealer. Check out my blog. http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5725 Enjoy ...

Rain? Real men ride in the snow! I have not issue riding in the rain.

Not big of clever, but doable with a decent set of tyres.

Re: Percy the PCX125

Thought I'd update this thread as its been awhile... Percy is still running well and we've braved our first winter together. I didn't need to use the train once! As you can see the winter was fairly mild with only a couple of really cold days. Averaging 4 days per week into central London @ 68 miles...

Re: Long Journey

I admire your ambition to do this. I drive it regularly and would take the train over the car. Did Maidstone to Goodison Park last week. 274 miles so slightly longer. Left at 5am. Was in Liverpool for brunch. Non stop and clear motorway for more than 5 hours! Would I do it on a PCX? No. Not on the m...

Re: Percy the PCX125

Yup. Thought it was a fairly hefty milestone. Just so happened to be next to a petrol station and I needed some so pulled in. 10,000 miles on a 125 in less than 12 months. I must be mad.. Original everything other than the parts in the warranty jobs above. Weather should be warming up here. Forecast...

Re: Percy the PCX125

Wow, England! So lovely surroundings and your smiling PCX front. My PCX is just 400 miles. I can run PCX ten thousand miles across China, and I would triple that distance if I rode it in England. Lovely but wet and grey. Snow today so no chance of going out on the bike. Hit 10,000 miles this week! ...

Re: Percy the PCX125

Just posted this into another thread, so dropped it here to remind me of that evening. I might have L plates at the moment, but I'm no fair weather guy :) Its not that bad, but I spend over an hour each way commuting so need to be comfy. For me the twist and go is the best feature given the traffic ...

Its not that bad, but I spend over an hour each way commuting so need to be comfy. For me the twist and go is the best feature given the traffic in central London. We've had some mornings at -6c recently. Its more wet than proper cold and the right warm and dry gear is essential. This happened on th...

Re: Weather/Wind Protection with Stock Windscreen & Front Co

I have a tall screen, heated grips, lever covers and muffs to keep the cold off me. It works well.

I even like the look of the muffs now.

No worries. I'm using the thread to log all the costs/issues so I'm glad if others find it useful. £280 to replace steering head bearings!!! Indeed, I didn't notice a problem until they had fixed them. Would be an MOT fail here in the UK. If I may pick your brains, did you follow the run in period a...

Re: Percy the PCX125

Hello again and Happy New Year! It's been awhile since I last updated the tread.. Well 3800 or so miles and still using the PCX for the London commute - sitting at just under 9k now since March 1st. The weather has been quite mild, but that didn't stop me adding some mods to keep me warm and dryer. ...

Re: how long do the pcx brakes last5?

I have 2mm left of 5 on the front after 8000 miles. The garage warned me they needed doing ASAP so got a set off an online seller to find the geniune Honda pads have just 5 to start with. Was disappointed as at that rate I should have 4000 miles left.
