30 km/liter is quite poor. Do you ride full throttle a lot? Or with a lot of weight on the bike?

You can also check on ebay. Usually you will find some offers from European sellers there, but there are typically a bit more expensive than the Thai vendors.

Re: I dropped my '15 PCX

Hi Ben,
if long waiting times is not a problem, you could order the plastic parts from one of the dealers directly in Thailand (like powerbypcx or bikerbitz). Including shipping costs the whole set of plastic parts for a PCX is around 250 Euros I guess.
Best regards,
Klaus

Re: Advice for riding with passenger?

I would recommend to ride with a light passenger first. Tell him/her to keep the feet on the foot rests during the whole ride and not to step on the exhaust.

Re: Carrying grocery bags?

Most scooters here have a hook mounted centrally on the bodywork just beneath the handlebars. The problem with the PCX is that there is limited distance between the bars and the central "tunnel" For reference they are called Convenience Hook. I also wanted to get a hook some time ago, but...

Re: Palm Springs to Monteray Beach on my new Honda Forza

Hi Guys, My name is David and the Honda Forza scooter is my first bike period. My main hesitation was whether or not I would be able to take the bike on long road trips which I really wanted to be able to do. Well I finally tested it out and took my Forza from Palm Springs all the way up the Pacifi...

Re: Big guys on PCX125

Hi Col, how big are you? I am 6'2", 185 lbs (1.88m, 85kg) and I love riding the PCX. I have a larger than stock windshield. The maximum speed that I can get is quite typical for a PCX (110 kmh, 68 mph on the display) and I am also quite happy with the acceleration- above ~80kmh it gets slower, ...

Re: How bad is residual salt on a dry road?

Might be the equivalent of scooting near the beach and coastal air. How are you beach boys getting on with your nuts, bolts and brackets? That's what I was wondering, too. When we have salt on the road it is cold and less corrosive, but riding near the beach in warm and humid weather might be worse...

How bad is residual salt on a dry road?

I am thinking about getting my scooter out for the first ride this year tomorrow- temps are expected to be up to 12C (54F). The roads are dry, but we had some ice (and because of that salt) on the road about 3 weeks ago. There was no precipitation since then. So, I expect some remaining salt on the ...

At least for doing it yourself.
powerbypcx is in general a little more expansive than bikerbitz, but as a registered member of this forum you can get a 10% discount from powerbypcx- just send them an email and ask for the discount code.
