Re: Ordering From Biker Bits.

I crashed the bike and need a lot of parts for the front, mainly the plastics and front stay, do you think it is worth to order so many parts from Thailand? The shipping price is quite high, so not sure if to order from BikersBitz or try to find some parts in Europe where the shipping can be cheape...

Re: 2021 Honda PCX "160"

In the USA: Just called and ordered the first one I saw advertised in my region on a dealer's website. They currently expect to get just one, and 3-4 weeks is the ETA: We shall see. Have been lurking here, learning. We'll see how this develops; stay tuned. By the way, it's just PCX here: no 150 nor...

An aftermarket kit will work for you, instead of buying the OEM parts by themselves. Here is an Aliexpress kit that should work with your scooter. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001369205335.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000060.1.453777c76ObAa9&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreThisSeller&scm=1007.1333...

Re: 2019 Honda PCX 150 Smart Key System Upgrade

Interesting, the guy I’m dealing with from eBay selling Chinese parts assured me that it is plug and play to install. I think yours should be plug and play. My stock ignition switch only had a two prong plug/socket, that's why I had to do some DIY. Here is a post on my install, to my 2013 PCX. I di...

Re: How to reduce your coronavirus infection risk

I like all the comments in the thread. I'm glad to see that we are all taking this threat seriously and doing something about it. I agree with the sentiment the the N95 mask is the most effective. It's a disappointment that a year into this and there is still a shortage of N95 mask available. I thin...

Re: Most practical scooter for food delivery?

@Mel46 The scooter tipping over was kind of my bad. It was forecast to be windy that day, but i got laisy and parked it at the most convenient motorcycle partaking spot. The parking spot was cresting a hill and perpendicular to the wind. I was more careful after this tipping. The box did make the sc...

Re: Most practical scooter for food delivery?

Yamaha xmax 300, great mpg, huge underseat storage and Japanese engineering. As for maneuverability it depends on how flat your delivery area is. I haven't rident the xmax 300, but I'm sure it would be fine in a flat area. I had a couple mishaps with my PCX when dealing with hilly or uneven surfaces...

Re: ECU out on 1022 PCX125 with 8000 miles?

Is this something that goes out? My Honda shop tells me the unit alone is about $1000. Any ideas? Last time my scooter didn't want to start was because of the emergency shut off switch. I flicked it on and off a few times then it just started. I haven't had the issue since, at least with the emerge...

Re: ECU out on 1022 PCX125 with 8000 miles?

To take this further, was riding my 2011 PPCx125 with 8000 miles on it, doing great, Stopped at Walmart, came back out and it would not turn over. Nothing, not a try, not a click, nothing. It seemed just like the times I forgot and left the side stand down and the little switch on it keeps the scoo...

Definitely get a second opinion. Make sure that all the switches are working properly, the ones related to starting the engine.

I put all leds. no flickering on my end.
I think it was the LED headlight bulbs that I added that caused it, they had eight LEDs per bulb. Which ones did you use?
Also, good to hear that it was only on my end.

Re: 70000km (40000 miles) CVT/engine service?

I concur, my aftermarket varactor wore out at ~27K miles of use. It might of already been replaced, the symptoms include stuck acceleration, king of like stuck in gear. The clutch pads, the recommended pads will fix the clutch chatter, but a side effect is slow takeoff. Change the outer clutch bell ...

Re: General Suspension Questions

Hi Gil! It has 12K miles on the clock I think when I originally posted, there were a variety of things at play. I had put a new rear tire on, I think that even though technically I let it do 100 miles to break in before I started complaining, it didn't really break in until mid November really. I p...
