Re: Import from UK

gn2 - thank you - this helps a lot. I was afraid that to register I will need to replace whole headlights module which is quite expensive

Import from UK

Hi, I am planning to move from UK to Poland and take my PCX with me (import) As everybody knows in UK you ride on left side of the road and in continental Europe on right side. Usually cars and some bikes needs to be adjusted to be registered in other European country What would I need to adjust wit...

Re: Crankcase breather tube - Difficulty in removing plastic

Personally I found design of this tube funny (why force people to clean this thing - I dunno). I have heard about air filters that can replace tube... Anyway my idea (if I would not be able to remove tube) would be to open air filter case and drain fluid from inside. I have no idea how but putting i...

Re: Rear Brake Lever

I had same problem. After almost 2300 miles I have noticed that rear brake does not play right (rear wheel was doing weird things after braking before cornering like on roundabouts) Ok so I have used adjuster at the rear wheel (it is now in the middle of it's range) Does that mean that during next s...

Re: PCX 125 oil

I was given 10w50 by Yamaha at 600 miles (Yamaha dealer is closer to my location than Honda)
My engine is still alive (over 2K now) - I hope it will not blow up :)

Re: Something is wrong with fuel usage

My wheel sounds like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCgGrpH_Qqs So all signs say it might be bearings I am considering replacing them on my own. Is it a good idea? I am not sure where to buy and how to choose proper one What worries me is why it happened so soon (I have only 1400 miles on coun...

Re: Something is wrong with fuel usage

I still think that there is something wrong. :( Engine gives more vibrations at low speeds (especially could) then it used to And what is worst rear wheel is very noisy. Sounds like friction. While riding I can not hear it but I hear some whistling sound. When I rotate it by hand it is very loud. My...

Re: Something is wrong with fuel usage

Thanx :) I was not aware that temp may have such big impact on fuel consumption. Might be it but average temperature dropped seriously just recently and my small problems started before that. My weight did not changed recently too. Anyway nobody has mentioned possible malfunction so I assume there i...

Something is wrong with fuel usage

Hello, First 1000 British miles behind me. I am doing 40 miles almost every day and so far it is great. However I have left my bike for two weeks when I went back home for xmass. When I came back I have noticed that engine makes small whistling noice, and my mpg dropped from 104 mpg to about 97 mpg....

Re: First service

Thanx for help :)

They said valve was not checked (they say it is too early) - they will do it next time.

I have made another 100 miles and my pcx seems fine

Maybe it is just subjective impression but engine is slightly more noicy and vibrates more.

First service

Hi there, I just had my first (600 miles) service. I had to cut down on costs because honda wanted 200 GBP for that and my dealer's location is very far away from my home so i have searched arround my town and I found Yamaha store that said that they can do this for 60 GBP. Good deal I thought. But ...

Re: Another boring introduction email.

Thank you all for warm welcome :) WhiteNoise: I have seen this trick on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFQE8eWXrt4 My handlebar however seem to be quite high already (I am not quite sure what more can exactly be done) This is quite serious - issue but I would have it in most scooters I thin...

Another boring introduction email.

Hi There :) I am fresh PCX owner. My nationality is Polish so forgive me my language which is far from being perfect :) Anyway as introduction I will say that I hate driving cars and after I made my driving license 6 years ago I was driving maybe for couple of days. This however limits my ability to...
