Re: HondaPcx150 Vs Suzuki Burgman 200

Perhaps if the new Yamaha 155 had a cruising speed of 110 kph and could sit all day on that without screaming, any one have this kind of info on one yet?... ...that may well be an other option ...I will test ride one when it becomes available...I consider the forosa..just a little to heavy for me as...

Re: HondaPcx150 Vs Suzuki Burgman 200

My Bergman 400 had an adjustable back brace on the seat. Doesn't the 200 have one also? My 400 was a wonderful bike to ride. When my wife and I looked at the 200 we thought it looked a little strange as apposed to the 400, which was sitting right beside it. The side kick stand made the bike lean to...

HondaPcx150 Vs Suzuki Burgman 200

:) Hi there , so I took the 200 for a test ride the other day....and I have to say it was better than the pcx except for the three things.... 1. Not quite as good looking, but passable 2.Not quite as zippy up to 80ks, mind you the test bike had 16 kilometres on the clock maybe a little tight,,,,but ...

Re: Coming up to 12 thousand K's

I believe people mentioned no need to change oil sooner than the recommended interval, but no harm if you do. That said, how have you changed both sets of oil thingies and not had the screen out once? (if I read this above correctly). You should have checked it when you first changed the oil yourse...

Coming up to 12 thousand K's

My 2014/15 150 is coming up to 12 thou k's...anything major to have done here?...I have only been changing the oil(both gearbox and engine) about every two thousand or so...and only ever had the 1st service done at the dealer, and not sure if they did the oil strainer or not...and I have not touched...

Re: The speed limiter 120 kph?

Thanks for the advice.....I am just a little hesitant to mess with it from standard...but, having said that,it would actually make it just the right bike for all of my needs......I guess at about 12 thousand k's or so could make it a very good option, either that or I will look at the Burgman200 may...

The speed limiter 120 kph?

I am pretty sure my limiter kicks in at 120 kph...? I did not pay that close of attention to it, after so many K's I tend to accelerate, and not even notice. I have been doing a lot of highway lately and will have to do a lot more. Mind you it is going strong at 100 and even up to 110 , easy when th...

Re: Forza owner thinking Burgman 400 ??

What about the burgman 200 ? It is only 30kilos heavier than pcx150...So i would imagine its power to weight would be very good. This is a bike I would consider eventually. It is a tad boring in the looks department in my opinion though.

Re: 45 mph...or hurricane ?

I just removed my top box for the first time the other day, just to see what it would be like.

It was quite windy and it made a huge difference to speed, feel and general handling, in fact in felt lighter to ride somehow.

Re: Motor oil specification?

You should use a good brand name 4-stroke fully-synth bike oil and not a car oil. It will work but motorcycle oils meet a specification, just like car oils - nonsense to say otherwise. As has been stated so many times, the PCX is a little scoot, just use any good 4-stroke fully synth bike oil and y...

Re: Anyone here doing their own transmission oil changes

Yes, as the others have said, it's easy. Don't be afraid to do it! The only deviation I made from the linked instructions is that I did my first change at 3k mi (to put in synthetic), reused the copper sealing washers, & used 15W-50 (Mobil 1). I know its not an engine overhaul, but I saved appr...

I have done motorway trips many of times and all I can say you need to clinch your butt cheeks together and get on with it, yes it is scary I have Michelin city grip, I think a lot of time its to do with the state of mind. I mostly do 67 on the motorways I don't like overtaken lorries so I stay beh...
