Re: Cambodia
Do a little research on this site, http://www.rideasia.net/motorcycle-forum/forum.php/ . You should be able to get a good answer to your question or you can ask the same question there if you are unable to get a clear answer. Another good site to try is this one for your question. http://www.gt-ride...

He's just trying to hide from the dog nappers who take would take him across the border (I won't for what as to not offend anyone-Imagination will suffice in this situation).

Re: My PCX150-White/Red
I believe the part number was TZ302-310TR-07O in the XXL model. The letter at the end represents the "Offset" mount model, I think this only comes into critical play if you would ever desire to use the oversize tires on the rear like I currently have installed. If you are in Thailand they ...

Re: PCX Are Popular in Thailand
Looks to be 4 PCXs in the picture. 2nd from left, 2 in the middle and the 3rd one from the right side.
I can verify, they are very popular in Thailand and certainly here in Chiang Mai and other metro areas.

Re: My PCX150-White/Red
The wide tires look nice. Have you noticed more top-end speed as a result of larger tires? Nothing on the top end, I never got around to trying to determine top end speed in the original factory spec either. I just figured being almost 6'5" and not very stealthy I would not be the one setting ...

Re: Balancing tires for a smoother ride.
I just installed a new set of tires and installed the Dyna Beads as well. I had high hopes but in all honesty I don't think they provided any benefit over the original factory tires and first set of 13" tires which were never balanced. If I had it to do over again, I would not spend the money f...

Re: My PCX150-White/Red
BIB=Boys in Brown, AKA Thai Police. In Chiang Mai, there are daily checkpoints for helmets and seat belt violators along with any other violation they can come up with. In my 2+ years here I have had one stop (vehicle) for my wife not wearing a seat belt. The cost was 200 THB and no ticket. Over the...

Not sure on the width. I will try to check it out the next time I'm at the Honda dealer. As for shipping to the US, the folks at powerbypcx are willing to ship anywhere. If you don't want the bling effect you can now get the original styled wheels in size 13" as well.

Re: My PCX150-White/Red
The stainless muffler was a copy made here locally and was done just for a test. At the time I was making quite a few trips exploring Thailand and got concerned that I might be an easy target for the BIBs in some remote area of Thailand. If I had it to do again, I would have bought one of the Takega...

Re: My PCX150-White/Red
My PCX is approaching 17K (kms) and the rainy season is here and alive in Thailand so I thought it was time to go with as new set of tires. I went with Michelin Pure SC, 150/70-13 on the rear and 120/70-13 on the front. I believe this is the largest size you can get on the rear without changing the ...

Re: Givi E300, E340 & E370 photos on PCX150
Hawaii - That thing is HUGE! :D I wasn't sure you could put one that big on the PCX. Does it weigh much without being filled? And how much does it affect your ride, especially on the highway? The empty box is quite light. I've taken it on 2 long trips, (1600km & 1000km) and not really noticed a...

You can go a bit bigger. I have the GIVI E45N and use it for everything from grocery runs to hauling school books around along with an occasional trip. http://johnosteen.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/Honda-PCX-150/i-KVr36CP/0/M/IMG_1323-M.jpg http://johnosteen.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/Honda-PCX-150/i-KKN8c...

They changed the colors a bit for the 2013 models in Thailand. Looks like the White/Red & Black/Red are gone.

Not sure how this bit of info factors into the equation if at all. I did a simple test with the GPS vs odometer.
On the GPS I got 80 km, on the 82.5 km.

Re: My PCX150-White/Red
Anyone need tires? Comical how things get delivered here, a truck full of Scooter tires-let's go sell some. No idea if they are rejects or specials that slipped out of the back of the manufacturing plant or what. They ride around selling a few until the truck in empty. It's really dangerous early in...

Re: How far can a PCX go on a tank?
Here's a graph for the past year. Over time it has moved closer to 2.0l/100km. There are a couple of spikes where I went on extended trips including mountain rides and rode at higher speeds than I normally drive. My day-to-day driving style is dictated by the road environment in Chaing Mai, the road...

Re: How far can a PCX go on a tank?
Mine runs out over 100/110 miles. Runs out as in you are stranded on the side of a road or the light starts to blink and you fill up? How many liters are you getting on your fill-ups? What kind of driving style is normal for you? Assuming you run the max speed possible most of the time getting that...

Indyglow, can you post the contact information on the company who did your plastic modification? I think the results were top notch.
Thanks in advance.

Re: powerbypcx seats?
Loudgonzo, sounds like you had the same issue I had after my re-upholstery job. I was happier with the seat but there was a hard ridge still there. The best thing I did to the seat was have the plastic humps and more padding added. You can get an idea of what you are feeling on "indyglow's"...
