quick action throttle

Just wondered if anyone on here has fitted a quick action throttle tube and if so did it make a difference re reducing the amount of movement needed from zero to full throttle ?

Brake system help please ?

I noticed the front brake was binding slightly so removed the caliper for cleaning, the pistons are in good condition with no pitting and I got both the smaller centre piston that operates with the rear brake and the lower larger piston that's operated by the front brake working and turning freely b...

Re: Tale of woe and some help needed please

Thank you very much for the info, really appreciated, I've already had all the plastics off and bottom mounted engine out to temporarily repair it, all back together and holding well for now but I intend to replace the left side crankcase over the winter and due to all the hassle I've had up to now ...

Re: Honking mad!

I've no idea why they chose that layout, my wifes big bike and my own are also Hondas with the more conventional layout of indicators above horn. Have thought of swapping out the left switchgear for another set with the more conventional layout, it doesn't help that the pcx like I've fitted on our o...

Re: Leo Vince Nero Evo 2 exhaust ?

Hi. This is the one I use. I don't think it is too loud. My riding buddy says it sounds like a BSA 250cc. It lets the engine breathe easier so therefore top speed is a little better. If you know where the Isle of Man is, I reached 74mph down the Creg. (can man live at this speed) I only went for th...

Re: 2012 esp malossi multivar 2000 ?

Thank you for all the info, bit surprised that the ramps are plastic ? Why were you not able to fit the clutch spring ? I've never changed one, is it a difficult job ? Good to know that the stock belt works with the Multivar as my wifes bike has less than 3000 miles. What kind of top speed do you ge...

2012 esp malossi multivar 2000 ?

Been looking at the Malossi Multivar 2000 for my wifes 2012 125 esp and wondered if the stock belt's the best option with this variator ? also wondered if you're best using the 10.5g rollers the Multivar comes with or is it better to use sliders ? My wifes bike's currently stock apart from 12g Dr Pu...

Re: Leo Vince Nero Evo 2 exhaust ?

She likes how quiet the pcx is stock but I'm not replacing the rotting stock exhaust with another stock one, have already tidied up the stock one for now but was looking for a stainless replacement that doesn't sound much louder than stock ?

Re: Differences between the Thai and US body panels & lights

i just fitted a front left cover to my wifes pcx that was slightly damaged when she bought it, we got one from bikerzbits in Thailand and it's indistinguishable from the stock one I took off, paint is a perfect match too, candy rosey red, it was a real pig of a job to do though.

Re: transmission cover gasket ?

So just put it back as is ?

I know many people on here must have that cover off often for tinkering, does anyone else find that the gasket and both mating faces corrode ? perhaps because of the mixture of metals ?

transmission cover gasket ?

Had my transmission cover off today for the first time, the thin metal gasket between the cover and crankcase had sort of corroded and bonded itself in various places to both the cover and crankcase, got it off eventually undamaged and have cleaned it up with wd40 and wet and dry paper and it's fine...

Re: Tale of woe and some help needed please

Thanks, got it tig welded at a blacksmiths in Perth which has been 95% successful, currently pricing parts to do the job properly as the welding was only ever going to be a temporary fix, will replace the crankcase over the winter once I have all the parts, tools and service manual together.

Thanks

Re: pcx125 part number confusion ?

If you had only asked a month ago, I sold my dealer supplied '12 pcx 125 shop manual for £23 a month ago (kept the official '15 amendment for the UK LED model and bought a good quality '13-15 PCX 150 manual from http://www.service-shop-repair-manual.com/ < about $50 delivered). Dealers can get them...

The new Click 125 uses the old PCX 125 engine. If you need I will be happy to walk to Honda dealer and confirm the part number for the old PCX 125?Click125 What we don't have here is the 125 version of the new Honda 150. pcx125 part number confusion ?

Hi, trying to identify the correct part number for the left crankcase on my UK 2012 Pcx 125 WW125 EX2-C, engine number ends in 2209846 ? The number I keep coming up with is 11200-KZR-602 but speaking to some suppliers overseas they've suggested 11200-KZY-700 ? Saying that the part number I gave them...
