I had big improvements in uphill torque, just where I wanted it. But with a new exhaust I am running lean. In the shop getting tuned.

This is my next upgrade after mine gets out of the shop. Upgraded the rear and the difference between front and rear rear is staggering now. Feels unbalanced.

+1 If you still get the rattling after you replace the exhaust with the original one make sure your valves are adjusted correctly too. Was the engine 4 oz low on oil? I've determined from other scooter forums (not hondapcx) and from YouTube vids describing a very similar sound in scooters that this may be the crankcase bearing. Not easy to get to.

Just added about 4oz of oil. No idea. Checked a couple months ago. Just hope I didn't go too long like that. No sign of leaks or burning oil. Gonna start fresh tomorrow.

It's been a while since I've had the pads off and done any cleaning. Checked the rear when I changed the tires earlier this year. I'll start with the front pads and caliper They may be binding because of various reasons. Pads are probably due soon. 8000 miles on the original pads and drum brake.
