Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT

Hi - anyone tried Dr pullleys in the Forza 2018 model? Thinking of selling my old forza and getting one so interested to see how it goes with Dr pulleys. I am am presuming it uses same Sliders as the old model as it looks like it is the same engine. I've put 17g Tech Pulley sliders as bought them b...

Re: Service intervals/costs

First service for my forza 300 2018 was £160 and I'm certain that next service will be done by myself. If someone says that he's paid £450 for two services and got "free" replacement of bearings that are worth £50 is just silly. On checklist that I've received after the service, chain and ...

Re: Back on forum

If you're considering the Givi screen, here's a comparison with the stock screen. https://i.postimg.cc/XY6bMwXW/IMG-20190219-172526814.jpg Looks much better than stock. Does it still go up and down? Standard screen rattles sometimes on idle and shakes a lot. Is there any improvement on that with Gi...

Re: 2019 Yamaha XMax 300 . . . the Last in a Long Line for M

Its 2018 model. 2019 has white on black lcd display and comfort seat. Also no fake seams on plastics. I have test drove both Xmax 300 and Forza 300 in December but decided on Forza. Better engine on Yamaha rest is very similar. In the U.S. it's a 2019 model. We still get the regular seat stock . . ...

Re: 2019 Yamaha XMax 300 . . . the Last in a Long Line for M

Congrats, for the first couple months, every time you go out ,after five minutes ,switch to the voltmeter display. It should be tracking somewhere above 13.5 to 14 or so. If it's anywhere down in the 12s you got a rectifier problem and your battery is slowly going dead. There have been no new incid...

Re: Back on forum

Only done 18 miles today on my new Forza 300 and here my first impressions: - very light handling similar to pcx - quiet and refined - noise from road debris hitting front mudguard - keyless seemed bit odd to start with but its really useful. - led headlights are very good I was worried if they brig...

Re: Heidenau K66 4-Season Scooter Tire

I ordered a rear tire today. A 150/70-13 M&S Heidenau K66 from FortNine in Montreal. I think it ships out of Calgary, Alberta to me in Hope, British Columbia, CANADA. It is -8C right now and I am a little under the weather. I have been working outside and it has worn me down. The tire will be $...

Re: Back on forum

That color really brings out the sharp lines of the Forza. I really like the look of that bike. I've had test ride on both Forza 300 and Xmax 300 and Yamaha was bit faster closer on performance to my Kymco Downtown 300i but just didn't look the part. Front end looks like surprised donkey. Re: Back on forum

Charging issues. I have replaced rectifier but with no luck so its probably the stator that needs replacing. I was looking at that forza for some time now so just excuse for getting new bike. Will have to fix downtown eventually to sell it but ill wait until it gets warmer. For now Kymco has got vot...

My trusty Kymco Downtown has given up a ghost so back to Honda now. Sadly it's snow and ice here in the UK. Hopefully back to usual rain from Monday. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190203/015dab01a9495ec8c4af201e7f4b7d5d.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190203/76a557e963d17d8e8cb37f6da85ad...

good people .. here is the photos of the escape that I have in my girl (pcx) Whole exhaust is hanging on a single bolt. It will snap from vibration and don't forget exhaust shakes up and down with swing arm that it's attached to. Hope you haven't replaced that bolt which holds rear shock with just ...

Re: PCX 150 at freeway speed.

Do you folks feel comfortable on the PCX at freeway speeds 60+ mph? I took mine on the freeway 3 times in two days. Bike feels a little small to me for freeway speeds. Lots of wind buffeting, really squirrley on grooved pavement. It probably just me. I don’t even take my big bikes on the freeway. M...

Re: PCX vs Piaggio Medley review, now on SLUK

We used to have a good system where you could ride a 125 as a learner, take your test on it to proved you were safe and then buy whatever you liked. Now we have a stupid EU stepped license system which only allows bigger engines at certain ages and after other tests. This makes it expensive to get ...

Re: 2018 Honda PCX Performance

My 2015 Honda PCX 150 (K-18) ran 62-63mph on the rev limiter before the NCY variator change. I replaced it with the variator- face-13g rollers and saw the increase up to 70mph (speedometer) 73mph (GPS). I then installed the GIVI short windscreen and Leo Vince exhaust and she moved on up to 73mph (s...
