Re: Rough engine

The numberplate...Yes...that was a BIG rattle-snake for me after like 200miles.
I fixed it with a bunch of "under-your-stool-don't-make-marks-on-the-floor-things", about 6 or 7 on top of each other, fitted between the plate and the rear wing.

Re: How do you fit the Honda taller screen?

When I shifted my windscreen, after I took away the three screws, I actually loosened the top 'wings' first, by forcing each side down and forward a bit, until they 'snapped out'. After that, and standing in front of the scooter, I pushed in my fingers at each side, from the top and a bit down, then...

Re: How is two-up on the Forza?

With me and my wife on the PCX125, it worked, but no more, on the Forza on the other hand, it works like a charm.
we together weights in on 85kg + 65 kg, You do the math yourself :-)

ok, 150kg equals to 331 lb's

Re: Large Honda Windshield

Screens are always subjective. Someone who is 5ft tall on with a tall screen will be out of the wind, They will get a quiet ride with occasional buffeting from turblence. Same setup with someone who is 6ft and their head is right in the jetstream and they will get a louder ride than with no screen ...

Re: Large Honda Windshield

Thanx for your input, actually there was a sale here on the 'black' PUIG, and I wondered if it would do, but as You say, it's probably better with a not so dark...

oh...one more thing, Can You say if the PUIG gives any shelter to Your hands regarding wind?

Re: Large Honda Windshield

Well, now it's beginning to get really cold here in Sweden, so I really have to install a larger windscreen to get less wind on my chest and neck. So now I am wondering if anyone has any experience of the different screens that exists for the Forza. I have at least found 3 versions, The Original Hon...

I am now strengthen in my thoughts that it was a combination that made this 'rocking' ... I can still feel it at some points, but very seldom, that s...

Re: Fuel consumption after Fuelpump exchange

Now I have measured at re-fill. 8,84 liters after 25,7 km --> a consumption of 0.3439 l/km. The meter showed 3.7 l / 100km. So....case closed? it doesn't seem like the actual consumption increased (only very very little, which could be explained by the weather as dadragon mentioned) but the meter is...

Fuel consumption after Fuelpump exchange

Hi, It seems that the Fuel consumption has increased with approx 10-15% after my fuel pump has been switched. At least the meter says so, before it was around 0.33l/km and now it is 0.38-0.4l/km. o_O I haven't really checked when filling up (will do so next time). Has anyone else seen this? could it...

Re: My Bike is "Rocking" me...

Now at last, a mechanic at another shop has test-driven the Forza, and he also felt the 'rocking' and also saw that the tire wasn't all round. So, he couldn't think of anything else then that it actually is the tire that starts the oscillating behavior. He has now made a complaint on the tire (as it...

Re: My Bike is "Rocking" me...

Yep, I have spoken to a tech that WILL testdrive it any day now, the plan was this morning, but it pours here....so I didn't feel like getting all to wet... ;) maybe tomorrow or friday.

And as You say, the wheel doesn't move, It's only the tire.
Thanx for your support :)

Re: My Bike is "Rocking" me...

just sharing my thoughts here...One more thing, the bike needs to get in a 'static' state before the 'rocking' starts, meaning: No bumps, No breaking, No throttling, just an even speed above 35kmh at an even surface. Feels like it need a little time to start oscillate... I need to nail down the sour...

Re: My Bike is "Rocking" me...

Yes, Iahve tried different air-pressure and suspension settings, I have also had it in a shop where some techs looked at it, but since they didn't testdrive correctly, they also checked this and, as they said, they did put the suspension to lowest and adjusted the air-pressure. But no difference.......

I dunno, but this is how my back wheel is 'moving' when running on the stand....do You think it can cause this 'rocking' behaviour?
