Re: Dr pulley sliders keep getting stuck , Slow start
MaLLoc, I was playing with my varios yesterday (testing different setups of the stock and Malossi to see how they perform in different situations) and one more thing came to my mind. Ceheck the edges of the pressure plate (steel plate which holds the weights in the alu pulley) for roughness or sharp...

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
I love them, great bond with all kind of weathers and they last very long :D Rear tire is now 15" instead of 14" this make's him also larger so less deviation on the speedo meter, still have to check how much though. You mean they are 150 wide instead of 140, or you have really changed yo...

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
Fully offtopic, but I really like your Heidenau K66 tires Mario.
I've just got the same types mounted on my PCX a few days ago.

Re: Anyone uses Aftermarket brakes levers?
I'm using very good quality foldable levers which i've bought from fleabay with stainless bolts from bikerzbits. (I can dig up links to them an case it would be needed) I have to say I love them. The folding mechanism can potentially get you home after a smaller crash or slide without braking the wh...

Re: crash!!
I haven't been there in that situation, and I also think in metric so my sense of distance can be way off therefore I definitely don't want to judge - but if there was 40 yards for rolling - I guess by staying upwards and braking for that distance the impact could potentially a lot less. +1 to Sendl...

Re: tires
Winter season is coming, we already had damp and some 10°C nights and the stock IRCs are not really suited for these conditions. I'm therefore mounting 110/80 front and 120/80 rear Heidenau K66-s as they reportedly the best tires you can get for this type of weather (used by 80 percent of my all wea...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
LOL. Thanks for the praise. I can't help, I'm an engineer - so need some good theory to oroduce replicable results. Good job. I hear what you say, two kids here too. I've tried child labour as it is (almost) free, but took me lot longer to finish consistently. ;-) Enjoy the ride, keep the shiny side...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Yup. Depending on the year of manufacture it could be 118ml for bikes before 2013 model year and 122ml (+ -2.5ml for both) since 2013 as later models have a tad longer suspension travel. Both have fo be filled to 75mm from the top of the collapsed fork tube as per factory recommendation for stock fo...

Re: Who's running what gram rollers?
Ps. I have a malissi multivar 2000 on my shelve which I did not installed yet as I like to play with stuff to perfect them for my application or preference. Planning to install it with the new big bore kit what already sits beside it. However as that takes a bit more time and I have to get my worksh...

Re: Who's running what gram rollers?
My factory original rollers weighted in with 16.5gr each. By my periodic service at 4000kms they seemed to develop some flat spots. Changed to 14gr DrPulley sliders first. Off the line was better a bit, mid range improved significantly and I had a hair more top speed also but somehow did not impress...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Tbank you for the feedback. Good job, I have to say I had no issue with the damping rod fitment. Good to hear that you like the result. If you don't mind I might go and post here (after correcting typo errors which I tend to make especially when typing on my tablet) the essence of the advice /lesson...

Re: Akrapovic
Ummm. I think you did not get my point. I was not intended to see if there is an improvement in engine power at all. I had a theory that the reduced unsprung weight (the Akra is 7kgs lighter than the stock exaust) of the rear suspension-engine-exhaust-wheel combination should improve the ride comfor...

Re: Dr pulley sliders keep getting stuck , Slow start
Next time if yiu have it open, try to identify the sliders (I've seen a brilliant idea from someone on the forum marking them with dots like on a dice [D6 if you have ever played any P&P RPG games ;-)]) and also mark the ramp it is happening on. Then just randomly rotate sliders in the ramps to ...

Re: Dr pulley sliders keep getting stuck , Slow start
First I have thought that they have been installed backwards but checked my saved manuals and they seem to be correctly inserted. Then thought that one is reversed, actually it is not reversed, but rolled backwards instead of sliding. Can it be that your roller holding plate or whatchamacallit is da...

Re: How-To: Install a Big Bore Kit (Honda PCX 125 non-eSP)
Maddie,
Are you using the stock spark plugs after installing the kit, or Takegawa has recommended different heat range?
Have you checked them how they read since the installation?
Thanks
Tamas

Re: Akrapovic
All I can say is neat.
Did you notice any difference in the rear suspension (theory above: better handling due to to reduced unsprung weight at the back) after the installation?

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT
To me it seems to be legit. The only issue is that I haven's seen any info on pricing or availability so far. It really seems to be very interesting. In case it would be available for relatively reasonable price in europe it would be king. I was otherwise looking at the enigma from DILTS Japan, but ...

Your location could help big time.
On the German pcx forum there is currently a weekend special promotion. The G-euro is 209 EUR including shipping within Germany (feom Thailand, co customs/VAT comes on top of it)
