Re: PCX 150 headlight switch repair.
Mine has no headligh switch (it is mandatory in Europe to allways have the low beams on) so had no issues with the specific one like you, but the idle stop switch had been acting up last year. Opened up the switch cluster (comes apart with two screws at the bottom), removed the switch, used the magi...

Re: the real key to riding in the snow
During the winter I'm riding on Heidenau K66 snowtex which is a german manufactured motorcycle specific winter tire available in our sizes. It is great on snow and when damp or icy, but on cold dry surface tge Michelin city grips are hands down more confidence inspiring. I have two sets o' wheels wh...

Re: 2018 PCX 2015 PCX rear disc brake?
This could be overcome by using the rear gear base speed sensor as one of the pickups and mating it to an equal number slots on he front wheel. Never seen an ABS without differential wheel speed sensing. But I might be absolutely wrong, and they might base the abs unit on inertia and front rotation ...

Re: New Forza 300 2018 is coming!
Very similar looks to the NSS 125 forza. I kinda like it, but YMMV. In this video Honda Italy's marketing comms manager says that the 125 Forza is very successful in mainly Italy and France (30.000 units sold since the launch) therefore the dealers and customers asked a new model from the 300 also. ...

Re: 2018 PCX 2015 PCX rear disc brake?
Indeed, the rear disc is needed for the ABS operation. The ABS works in a way, that continously compares rear and front wheel rotation speed and on abrupt changes it releases the hydraulic pressure on the locking wheel for preprogrammed short periods to ensure that the wheel will still rotate. In sh...

Re: 2018 PCX 2015 PCX rear disc brake?
The pcx is the luxury scooter in Indonesia, so price of PCX specific parts were usually quite high (compared to dirt cheap locally manufactured models based on the same global engine). So far I have seen the old pcx only manufactured in Thailand, then the LED models in Th and Vietnam, he new one hop...

Re: Synthetic Gear Oil
nmax forum said the same thing, I could use synthetic motor oil as gear oil. I wanna try look for a dedicated gear oil, something like w90 oils. No need to and not advised. 90w gear oil is heavier than the original recommendation, and whilst probably uses specific additives for better shearing resi...

Re: Honda PCX150 2018 YSS shock absorber
To me it seems that the new airbox leaves less room for the shock. I doubt that any aftermarket shock would exist with the small diameter of the stocker, and would be any better with such a measly shock piston size. I'd probably think bout retrofitting an earlier airbox and install a well known YSS ...

Re: pgm fi error code 2 long 1 short
I'd start by checking the plug first. With a bad ignition the engine is loosing power, and it can foul the O2 sensor with unburnt fuel. Second would be checking valve clearances on my list. Also, the slowing down can be due to different factor than the o2 issue. A worn out drive belt and drive faces...

Great to hear. For future reference, what kind of contamination was on the sensor?
As I understand it is a kind of magnetic sensor. Has it git some metal shavings on it, or the connector was the problem?

Re: Anyone Have Any Experience With a Honda Fit (a.k.a. Jazz
The we have one in the family and everybody loves it. I'd add to the previous comment, that besides its practicality and vert good resale value it has very low maintenance costs, and that 1.5 (our earlier version has a 1.4) engine is very economic to run even without any complicated hybrid finickyne...
