Re: New to The Forum

I may be mistaken, but the PCX idle start uses an independent system to restart the engine. The battery is not involved and neither the starter The PCX doesn't have a conventional starter, the alternator doubles up as the starter and also acts as a motor to position the crank in the optimum positio...

Re: New to The Forum

Hi all, New to the forum here, just bought myself a new PCX 150 over here in Thailand for the princely sum of 76500 Baht or £1457 in UK money. Looking forward to riding my own bike after renting a few of these over the years. Few pictures below. Welcome to the forum! Your PCX has the idle stop righ...

Re: Have any of you Dunkin Donut Fans figured this one out y

Quite a piece of engineering, but butt-ugly IMHO. Personally, I'm not coordinated enough to ride and drink (out of a can at least) at the same time. I just pull over and take a break when I'm thirsty. Besides, I usually wear a full-face helmet and it can get messy drinking out of a can. You are rig...

I like the RAM self leveling cup holder. It's not cheap but it is worth it. See picture. I like the fact that the holder leans with the bike so drinks don't spill even when cup is full. Here is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3t6StksXA5I Amazon has it here: http://www.amazon.com/Ram-Mount-S...

Re: What did you pay?

I'm looking into joining the Honda PCX Family. I've been eyeballing a new White 2015 PCX at the local dealership and wanted to know how much you guys paid for your new PCX. How much did you pay? I'll be looking in the US market FYI. I think you are asking for the actual cost right? Well, I paid clo...

Re: Intro, and some questions!

Hello everybody, I'm a fairly new PSX rider; two weeks ago today, I rode off the dealership on my black 2015 PCX! scooter.jpg So far, I'm having a great time riding and am very impressed by the mileage! The computer calculates an average of 121 miles to the gallon!!! I wasn't expecting it to be thi...

JohnL wrote::? Mel, A dumb question. How do you get the spare key out from under the seat if you can't unlock the seat??? :? :?
He keeps his wife's key under his seat and vice-versa. So if his wife leaves her key under her seat he opens his seat and gets a copy of her key to open the seat. Pretty good idea!

Re: Earplugs!

^^manny, I tried using them too. Good write up. But, no go for me. My ear canals are just to small and they stuck out too far. My full face would drag them out when I put it on/off. P.I.T.A. The Foam ones can be trimmed and they're mushy enough to work in > (carefully) <. Then ya toss them out afte...

Re: Earplugs!

Looks like the silicone ones get dirty after some use (packaging says 5 uses, I am sure they will last longer). Also, the one that are made of foam like the ones posted from amazon get oily pretty fast (they are supposed to be disposable one day use). I use ear plugs all day every work day due to ma...

Re: rack no drilling

Guys, both parts are one and the same but with different part numbers. I have the one from Amazon part 08L70-KZY-910 and also had part 08L71-K35-J00 from the Honda dealer (I ended returning one of them, the one from the dealer was taking long so I ordered the one from amazon and got it in 2 days). Those little triangle pieces are wind deflectors that give us some protection from the elements, plus they make the bike a bit more aerodynamic by sending the wind around us instead of through that area and into us. I made them for both bikes for the Winter but have found them to be great in the su...
