Re: New pads and discs strikes again!
I find that with my relaxed riding style I barely even use the brakes at all. I coast to a stop and I stay out of cities as much as possible. I haven't really looked at the Forza brakes that much. I had a Yamaha BWS that was hard on brakes. The pads were only about the size of a dollar coin (loonie ...

Happy Scooting for 2016! Scooting is when my dog drags his dirty ass across the carpet. Me, I am going to ride every motorcycle I can get my hands on as far as I can. Anyone want a brain dead dog? Have fun and try not to kill anyone (except if they deserve it, I have a list) Forza for a while. Dave

Re: Brand New Owner/Rider!
[quote="Fran"]I drive 10 miles a day and that's the longest I've done but I'm thinking of a 260 mile each way trip next year which will be on A roads avoiding the motorways. The sat nav app phone my phone says it should take 6 hours. I've got a taller windscreen and plenty of luggage, but ...

Re: What size engine is in my Honda Forza 300?
It's down to many countries discriminating bikes by engine size. The rules in the UK are based on less than 50cc less than 125cc less than 250cc and above So an engine which is 50cc actually falls under 125 legislation and requires a license. British Columbia, Canada uses less than 50, less than 40...

Re: more fuel capacity
Its enough for about 200 miles. If you need more put a fuel container under the seat. Wow. How are you managing to get 200 miles out of a tank? Even when I'm trying to hypermile, I can't get more than about 135 miles out of my tank. Is you tank empty or is the guage just saying it is empty? When th...

Re: Headlight Upgrades
I've been wondering that - whether it's an idea to buy a couple LED spots and fixing them to the side mudguard mounts at the front. That is what I want to do. I need to find some cheap eBay LEDs. I just want them to wake up the guys heading towards me during the day. I do not want to ride in the da...

Re: Brand New Owner/Rider!
Hey everyone! I'm glad I found this forum, it's great to connect with other Forza owners. I just purchased my first scooter for my commutes to work and around town. I really really like it so far and look forward to my drives every day. I have to wonder though, have you all taken your Forza's for l...

Snowing on the mountains right now. Warm in the house. Going to do absolutely nothing today!!! Keep the faith and live in hope? Eh! Lest you end up in Hells Gate. It is not the Enderby of the world! I have been at Hells Gate when it was frozen over. And I have the pictures to prove it. The lif...

If your tire has been replaced with a wider one? Have you looked at the air inlet from the airbox to the throttlebody? Is it very close or touching? This got me curious so I looked at my Forza with a Michelin City Grip 150/70-13 on the rear. There is about 1/4 inch clearance when the bike is...

Re: givi tall screen or honda tall screen.
I went from the Stock Sport Windshield, to a Givi DST1123, with the Handguards. Works Great! Matter of fact, last night I ordered the Givi AF1123 Air Flow Adjustable, for the Texas Summers starting in January! :D Cheers! BB When I ride in the rain with the tall Honda screen I do not get enough airf...

Re: What size engine is in my Honda Forza 300?
Most people have not got a clue that the Forza even has a gas motor. Hey, I don't see a motor and I ride the thing.dkazzed wrote:Even if someone wasn't bike literate, I'd expect them to know that something the size of a Forza is not powered by a dinky little 49cc motor.

Re: What size engine is in my Honda Forza 300?
The clue is in the thread title. The Forza engine size is 300. The cubic capacity is 279cc. BMW was the worst offender that I know of. Their F650GS was actually a detuned 798cc parallel-twin, not a 650cc at all. Very confusing. Tell Honda I want the missing 21cc put on my Forza or I will sue for fa...

Re: 2014 Honda Forza 300 Won't Start
When my Forza has sat for a week or two it needs a bit of throttle to start. Yeah, that helped as well. I am wiring in a socket to put a 2 watt solar charger on the battery for all winter until March. I took the seat off to get my head in to see the battery. I am not sure if I will re-attach that s...

Re: 2014 Honda Forza 300 Won't Start
OK, Thanks for all the suggestions. The FORZA RUNS. I charged up the battery a little more and cranked the hell out of it. It started. Does taking the key out so that the key magnets are far away actually help? I probably took a year of life from the starter. I am not sure how much the 7 degrees C ...

Re: 2014 Honda Forza 300 Won't Start
You wouldn't have happened to hit the kill switch by accident maybe? I've done that already and it took me a while to figure out that I bumped the switch. Been there. Also done the panic at the petrol pump when it won't start, without realising that the side stand was still down. I had that problem...
